HI EVERBODY, AS I'M SURE YOU CAN SEE FROM MY SITE, I'VE NEVER HAD ONE BEFORE. THIS IS JUST MY PERSONAL SITE OF ODDS AND ENDS INCLUDING MY FAVORITE RECIPES, FAVORITE WEB SITES AND SO ON. I WILL UPDATE THIS PAGE AS I GO AND ADD MORE STUFF. I'D ALSO APPRECIATE ANY SUGGESTIONS OR RECIPES YOU'D LIKE TO SHARE AS WELL.


PORK ROLL:
THIS IS ONE OF MY OWN CREATIONS THAT TURNED OUT SO GOOD I JUST HAVE TO SHARE IT WITH EVERYONE. I WAS TIRED OF JUST MAKING ROAST AND VEGGIES AND CAME UP W/ SOMETHING NEW!!!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED IS:
1.5-2LBS OF BREAD DOUGH-YOU CAN MAKE IT IN YOUR BREAD MACHINE OR BUY FROZEN DOUGH AT THE STORE
1 SMALL PORK ROAST
FLOUR
ONIONS
GREEN PEPPERS
BUTTER
HONEY
GARLIC POWDER

COOK YOUR PORK (OR YOU COULD USE ANY KIND YOU PLEASE) ROAST, SHRED IT AND SET IT ASIDE. IN A FRYING PAN SAUTE ONIONS AND PEPPERS IN BUTTER. MIX SOME FLOUR AND WATER TO MAKE GRAVY FROM THE JUICE LEFT FROM THE ROAST OR BUY GRAVY AT THE STORE. ROLL OUT YOUR DOUGH SO IT IS ABOUT THE LENGHTH OF A COOKIE SHEET AND ABOUT 6 INCHES OR SO IN WIDTH. PLACE SHREDDED MEAT DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE DOUGH, THEN ADD THE ONIONS AND PEPPERS. POUR SOME GRAVY OVER THE TOP. NOW, CUT SLITS WITH SCISSORS ON EACH SIDE OF THE DOUGH AND CRISS CROSS THEM OVER THE TOP, IT WILL MAKE A "BRAIDED" LOAF OF BREAD. RUB THE TOP OF THE LOAF WITH BUTTER AND SPRINKLE WITH GARLIC POWDER.
BAKE THIS IN THE OVEN FOR ABOUT 35-40MIN OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN. LET IT COOL FOR ABOUT 10-15 MIN AND CUT AND SERVE WITH GRAVY OVER THE TOP. YOU WILL LOVE IT !!!!

VARIATIONS OF THIS I ALSO MAKE ARE:
TACO LOAF- FILLED WITH TACO MEAT, SEASONING, LOTS OF CHEESE AND SALSA AND BEANS IF YOU LIKE

TUNA LOAF- FILLED WITH MIXED TUNA SALAD AND CHEESE

REUBAN LOAF- RYE BREAD FILLED WITH CORNED BEEF, SOURCRAUT(?SPELLING), SWISS CHEESE

PIZZA LOAF- FILLED WITH PIZZA SAUCE AND ALL OF YOUR FAVORITE TOPPINGS
