(Sara Kosakowski game MVP)
Game summary:
Great comeback. Hats off to the third base coach for being so aggressive in the base running. Shannon W had a great slide at home (not worrying about getting dirty). Sara D with a key hit to bring home the winning runs. Erin F with a huge hit to start us off. All out effort by 11 girls with the desire to win! The sign of a good team, played a little ugly in the field but made up for it playing smart at the plate!

07/20/04 Tuesday 8:00pm Field#2
Woodbridge 3 East Brunswick(EB2) 1
(Amy Stepien game MVP)
Game summary:
Defense! Defense! The key to last night's victory over East Brunswick #2. A classic pitcher's duel before a sold out crowd of 75 fans. Hats off to both pitchers! The Warriors were held to no hits last night but were able to squeeze out 3-1 victory. Amy Stepien's play at second with her golden glove was the star of the game . Diamond C came up big knocking down a hard hit grounder down the third base line holding the EB2 to a single. Sara K pitched well "again" and was able to hold the lead by getting some great support from her fielders. With the defense playing so strong, the time has come for the bats to wake up! Another victory tonight will assure us a trip to the final four. GO WARRIORS!

07/21/04 Wednesday 8:00pm Field#3
Edison 2 Woodbridge 1
(Lexie Borne game MVP)
Game summary:
Pretty tough game last night losing to Edison 2-1. Again, the "D" was strong and our bats were silent. As usual, great play by our infielders and good pitching by Sarah. Lexie B was excellent at short stop making a huge play with bases load. She also contributed the lone hit that drove in our only run. Tonight, it is all on the line in a "do or die" situation. Win and we play Friday. Lose and the season is pretty much over. OUR BATS NEED TO WAKE UP if we are to stay alive. Having faced Freehold in the Middletown Tournament, the Warriors will have a tough task ahead of them. Although we beat Freehold, their pitcher is strong and can be trouble if she finds the plate. AGAIN, WE NEED TO HIT THE BALL! Lets make Freehold earn the win in the field!
LETS GO WARRIORS!

07/22/04 Thursday 6:00pm Field#3
Woodbridge 11 Freehold 6
(Stephanie K game MVP)
Game summary:
It was all on the line last night and the Warriors came out on top by beating Freehold 11-6. It is now off to the FINAL FOUR with a show down against Edison. The winner of this game goes to finals.
Yesterday's game started off similar to our first meeting with Freehold in the Middletown Tournament. The Warriors capitalized on walks, scoring 6 runs in the first inning. Unlike our first meeting, our bats came ALIVE! Stefanie, who was given no respect by Freehold, started us off with a line drive over the shortstop's head. Production then came from everyone after that! The bottom of the line up came up BIG with some key hits. Hats off to Taylor, who has been swinging a good bat the last two games. What more can you say about a "D" that has kept us alive in every game this year. Sarah, who probably pitched her best game so far this year, came on real strong at the end by striking out the side to seal the victory. An all around effort by the team. Tonight's game is BIG, REAL BIG! Edison was able to squeak out just two runs against us in the last meeting. Our "D" has to be even stronger this time. With our BATS finally making music, REVENGE WILL BE SWEET!
GO WARRIORS!
