My Blessings From Heaven

My web site is about my wonderful children, Zachery Thomas Fields, Christian Joy Fields, Charles Richardson Samuel Fields.

Zachery the oldest of the bunch was born three months early on July 19, 1993, he wasn't due until October 18, 1993, he weighed 1 lb 4 oz, and 13 inches long and was hospitalized for five months in a NICU. When he came home at five months old, he came home on oxygen and a heart monitor and about 15 different medications. He is now a lively five year old, who loves playing with his little sister and brother, he also loves spending time with his nana(Kathy) and papa(Rex). The only problems Zachery has to face from his prematurity, is his asthma, Seizure disorder, and ADHD. He also has a VP Shunt in place that hasn't given him any trouble so far.

Our second born Christian Joy Fields, was born 5 weeks early on August 5, 1996, and weighed 5 lbs 7 oz, she had a blood infection, kidney infection, jaundice, extra pinkie, when she was brought into the world. Chrissy, was the hardest one to deliver of them all, after a grueling 15 hours of labor she was finally brought into this world by way of forceps and suction. Christian was a fairly healthy baby, besides her asthma and vision problems. She is now a lively little two year old who loves torturing her older brother and playing with her little baby brother whom she calls HAMMY because she cannot say Sammy.

Last but not least Charles Richardson Samuel Fields, made his appearance into our lives on December 1, 1998, by way of c-cection, same as his older brother. Samuel, was born with a condition called SHONES Syndrome, it has to do with the heart. His first heart surgery was done on December 3, 1998, at Children's Hospital in Seattle, WA, that surgery consisted of them going in and doing a Corarctation Repair. Then he went in on January 28, 1999, for a angioplasty to be performed on another valve in his heart. His next surgery (angioplasty) was done on March 18, 1998 on his Mitral Valve. Samuel is currently in the hospital for complecations do to his poor Mitral valve. Other than that his is a happy baby, and loves having his older brother and sister, adorn there attention on him.

I don't know why God blessed me with these three special needs children, but he has a plan in mind, so remember in life when you think God has given you something you think you just can't handle, and know that God doesn't make mistakes, he knows you can handle it. Tho the times may seem hard and it may seem there is no end in sight, but someday it will be OK and your life WILL settle down, you just have to trust in the one above and have faith. There is a song I once heard, its called "Sometimes Miracle's Hide," if you think about it that's just what God does he gives us little blessing, maybe not in a neat little package all pretty and perfect. But he knows we can deal with what comes at us and take it in stride.

Thank you for visiting my web site, and learning about my children. They are truly a blessing from up above. Connie D. Fields
