Membership and Volunteer Opportunities
There are two categories of membership offered by the Youth Liberation Association of Canada.
Full Membership-Youth between the ages of 15 and 21 may purchase a full membership, which entitles them to vote in the internal election, be a candidate and hold a YLAC office (if elected), and all other rights and responsibilities of YLAC membership, as detailed in the BYLAWS. Full Members will also receive a periodic newsletter (if they have email), and will be entitled to all discounts and special offers. Full Membership is available for a small fee of $5.00 Canadian funds.
Associated Membership-Youth under the age of fifteen or adults over the age of 21 may purchase an associated membership, which entitles them to attend the Annual General Meeting (but they may not vote, make or second motions, etc.), and states that they support the mission and objective of the YLAC. Associated Members will also receive a periodic newsletter (if they have email), and will be entitled to the discounts and special offers that YLAC provides to it's members. Associate Membership is available for the small fee of $5.00 Canadian funds.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The YLAC is currently seeking youth between the ages of 15 and 21 that are interested in serving on the Board of Directors. Applicants must be a Full Member of the YLAC to be eligible, and we invite you to email for further information.
