Dicing To Eat/Travel
WHAT IS DICING TO EAT/TRAVEL?
Dicing is allowing a single 6 or 12 sided die lead a person to new foods, restaurants or Travel adventures. Its basically rolling the die (see a sample list at the very bottom) and going on whatever adventure it chooses.
WHY DO YOU PRACTICE THIS?
Because Its fun and life should be fun and filled with adventure.
DID YOU CREATE DICING?
I created my version of it, I googled this idea a few years back to find like minded souls and learned that its a practice done by many people across the globe though mostly in the UK but everyone has their own version of it, I use Dicing strictly for fun and in no way do any of my practices cause harm to anyone.
I CANT HANDLE DATING A MAN WHO DOESNT USE HIS OWN BRAIN TO MAKE HIS OWN DECISIONS....
I use the die on Saturdays to lead me to new Food & Travel Adventures and Yes, I do use the die during the week to lead me to Shopping, Cultural Events, Gambling excursions but I dont see how this could be considered not using my own brain, You are acting like I let the die make important life decisions for me or that I use it 24/7 without any thoughts of my own!
I HAVE READ THAT SO AND SO IN FLORIDA USES THE DIE TO DECIDE WHAT CLOTHES-IF ANY HE WEARS EVERY DAY AND I READ ABOUT SO AND SO IN ARIZONA WHO USES THE DIE FOR ALL MAJOR LIFE DECISIONS-WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?
Personally, I wouldnt. Again, I only use the die for Food/Travel and during the week to lead me to Shopping/Cultural Events/Gambling.
ASKING A MAN TO DO THIS IS LIKE ASKING HIM TO COVERT TO YOUR RELIGION!
No, LOL, Dicing is a Fun HOBBY. A Religion is a lifetime commitment that one person makes to a God usually and follows a strict set of laws and rituals, Dicing is about Food & Travel and is used ONCE a week, The two cannot compare.

Well, I might as well go by myself then! That is like going to a carnival together and then you watch me ride the rides and play the games and eat the food but you just stand there like a complete deadhead, it is just Food & Travel!
WHAT DOES THE DIE SAY ABOUT ME?
The die is NOT Divination. I don't ask it about people. AGAIN, Food, Travel, Art, Culture, Shopping, Gambling!
YEAH BUT WHEN YOU GET REALLY STUCK I BET ITS NICE TO HAVE...
No, I do not use the die for ANY reason other than what I have expressed above!
DICING DOES SOUND FUN BUT EXPENSIVE...
I am disabled which means that until I get my writing going or I win a really nice jackpot by playing poker, I am on a limited income and yet I can afford to go Dicing once a week, You probably have a job and make more money than I do!
I AM ADVENTUROUS ENOUGH, I DONT NEED TO ROLL A DIE!
Most people who say this wont admit that even though they are very adventurous they still have limitations, they wont drive down the road that is dark and scary looking-They will choose the well lit street to walk or drive down or I have heard the excuse, well, there really is no reason to try this food item-what will it do to change my life? These people just arent the right kind of people to dice and we probably wouldnt get along anyways so no worries!
WHAT IF THE DIE SAYS...
Life is a grand and short adventure, the die cannot hurt you, it cannot lead you to kill someone, it cannot ask you to cut your dick off and become a woman, it is all about food, travel and entertainment ONLY!
HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE NUMBERS MEAN?
I assign an adventure to each number when creating the dice list and it doesn't change, for example 1 has always meant Order In Dinner by die and 2 has always meant Eat out by die.
THEN ITS NOT REALLY RANDOM-AND ITS LIMITED...
The die is random because I don't know which adventure will come up and I can only control what types of adventures we could be going on and No, its very unlimited, an example is that if a 2 came up, eat out, the die then can lead us all over the city we happen to be living in, let's say we lived in San Francisco, That's hundreds and hundreds of possible restaurants, with no way of knowing which one will be chosen and of course once there the die gets to choose an item off the menu for us to try and many restaurant menu's are very varied.
Another example is a Dice Road Trip, the die chooses which direction we drive, it chooses the exits we take, it chooses what towns we make stops in and it chooses the town we finish in, we if we had the time and money could be literally be led three states over from where we started, its random and unlimited.
WHAT COMPELS YOU TO FOLLOW THE DIE, WILL GOD PUNISH YOU IF YOU DONT?
I am a man of my word, when I say I am going to do something I do it and that is what compells me, as far as God, I am deeply Spiritual Indeed but I dont believe in God, Take that as you wish...
I AM ALLERGIC TO...I AM A VEGETARIAN...I AM IN AA AND CANT DRINK!
You cannot limit the dice because that defeats the purpose but Dicing is supposed to be fun so being allergic to a food or being in recovery is much different than being afraid of trying something because of how it looks or smells.
Being a Vegetarian, you wouldn't want to engage in Dicing because I cannot gaurantee what item on the menu would come up once we reached the restaurant, There is a ONE BITE RULE Though and you can also order whatever else you wish as long as you order the picked Item.
I DONT HAVE A CAR!
Well, That sucks but I don't either so I don't see how we could go on a dice road trip.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU PERSONALLY USE THE DIE?
Once a Week for Food & Travel and Then I roll once a day to see if I should do something different or out of the normal routine that I had planned, it really does make things more interesting!
IT SOUNDS SCARY!
Randomness and venturing into the unknown can be scary but it's JUST food and Travel so why does that sound scary?
WHAT IF THE DIE INSTRUCTS ME TO KILL MY CAT?
It wouldn't instruct you to do that unless your cat was already dead and listed on a restaurant menu.
WHAT IF THE DIE INSTRUCTS YOU TO KILL ME WHILE I AM ASLEEP?

DICING IS EVIL/FROM SATAN...
Well as a Unitarian Universalist and Non Theist, I have no belief in Satan or God, Heaven or Hell and since you are a believer I dont know that we are a good match so I dont think you need to worry about this!
DICING ISNT REALLY THE REASON WHY YOU ARE SINGLE!
Actually in the past when I have met a nice guy I haven't mentioned dicing right away and he seems to always like me, he says I am cute, sweet, ambitious, determined etc and likes my personality and then he finds out about the die and he freaks out and is gone so while it's not the die's fault, it's men's fear of food and travel and trying the things that are scary or unknown to them it is dice related.
I haven't met one man in Twelve years even willing to TRY dicing, let alone dice with me once a week.
WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO FORCE SOMEONE TO DO THIS WITH YOU?
I am seeking the man who reads this FAQ and thinks, wow, that sounds like fun, its something I could really get into! If a man feels like he has to dice with me to be my partner or else, he isnt the one I am looking for but look at it this way, I can only Eat/Travel once a week because I want to lose weight and maintain it once I reach my Goal and If I am going to be going on road trips and eating out every week alone, why even be in a LTR, why give my man whatever he asks of me and then not get the ONE thing I want? Relationships are about compromise, sometimes you do things because your partner wants to do them!
I HAVE ALREADY TRIED THIS FOOD/RESTAURANT AND I DONT LIKE IT!
The die doesn't care if you have tried something or not. Maybe the restaurant here makes it differently, maybe it's seasoned differently, maybe your taste buds were off that day...
An example, The first time I had squid I loved it, it was tender, deep fried and wonderful, melted in my mouth, the time I had it after that it was not deep friend, it looked like a plate of snot and tasted even worse, I have had it since then and it has been melt in your mouth good and it has been tough but I know that I like squid still, I just need it tender.

1 ORDER IN DINNER
The die chooses a menu from the ones we have in our home, then one food that I must try is chosen and one food you must try is chosen, we can order whatever else we wish from the menu.
2 EAT OUT
The Die chooses which direction to walk or drive, which restaurant we will eventually be eating at and one item once there for me to try and one item for you to try.
3 1ST NEVER BEEN
The die chooses a direction and then chooses one of us, we go to the first place in that direction that the chosen person has never been to before and we eat/drink whatever we want once there.
4 DICE ROAD TRIP
The die chooses which direction for us to drive, which exits to take, which towns to stop in and which town is our final destination, once there we must eat somewhere that one of us chooses (The die chooses who) and an activity that we must engage in one of us chooses (the die chooses who). Also the die chooses if we should spend the night in this town or return home right away.
5 LAS VEGAS MENUS
We head to Las Vegas Menus.com or whatever the site is called and the die picks a section of the menu and then a restaurant from the list for us to go to, once there, the die of course picks one item for me to try from the menu and one item for you to try.
6 Personal Choice-No Strings Attached. One of us chooses a place to Eat, we go there, We Eat, That Simple.

There could be 12 adventures, some ideas I have toyed with include: Personal Choice-Strings Attached, The Great Outdoors, Shopping Spree, Travel, Newspaper Event, Gambling....Im sure we can think of some others but I would want to keep #1, #2, #4 and #5 No Matter what, My future destination of Flagstaff Arizona has Restaurant Menus as an option and No I didnt roll the die to decide if I should move to Flagstaff, lol.
