The Crossroads
This is the crossroads.
Bad luck or Karma? Let me give you some background. In mid March of this year, I was injured on the job. Since that time I've seen several specialists and other Dr.'s. I've been drawing a Short Term Disability check ever since. June 14th was the last check I received due to my job deciding to put my case under review. It's now been 4 weeks since I've had any income whatsoever. In the last 4 weeks my bank account was closed by the bank because it was at a zero balance for too long, the gas to my house has been disconnected, I took out a payday loan not realizing that I wasn't going to get another check for quite awhile, now these people want to sue me, the tags on my vehicle have expired and I don't have ANY money to get them renewed. My auto insurance has been cancelled for lack of payment, my Ebay account has been frozen because I can't pay them what I owe them. My PayPal account has also been frozen because someone gained access to it and charged several expensive items to it. I can't buy food so I'm surviving on pork n beans that I had several cans of. I'm starting to look like a hermit because I've been needing a haircut for over 2 weeks and don't even have the money for that! Also, I need razors and shaving foam because I now resemble Grizzly Adams. My cable is due to be shut off just any day now. When I lose that, I lose the tv, internet, and my phone. The electric bill is due, as is the water bill. I don't even want to get started on my mortgage. It was already a month behind when all this started. They're scaring me due to threats of starting foreclosure proceedings. So, you tell me, is this bad luck or is it Karma?
I've gone as far as to post a blog telling this same story with a donation button at the bottom. But nobody believes this story even though it is absolutely true. I know I won't get even one cent out of it but I had to do something.
