If you are in the USA and 16 years of age or over, you can get a $25 welcome bonus for opening a ING Direct, no fee, no minimum balance, Orange Savings account which is paying 2% interest. This account can be opened with $1. Deposits at ING DIRECT are FDIC Insured. They will also give you a $10 referral bonus for each new account opened that you refer once your account is set up. You must be referred by a existing account holder to get the money. There are no catches, no hidden costs, etc. and if you would like, you can close the account after 30 days and make a withdrawal. I suggest you at least refer this to your friends and family and then close the account if you are going to. Of course the money is yours to do as you wish.
