Editor for Hire

Writting your own story?  Looking for an editor and feedback on your work? 

 

        I will try to provide suggestions on sentence structure, punctuation, grammer, sentence flow, consistancy problems, feedback on reader's thoughts at certain points, comments and suggestions, weak and strong points, elaboration or condensing suggestions, and praise where it is due.  Please copyright your work before sending. 

 

        Keep in mind that an editor's opinion is that of one person and an author should obtain several opinions from several different people and then make their own personal judgements based on those collected suggestions.  An author should not alter their story unless they agree with these numerous suggestions that they have received. 

 

        A reader can only experience a story through what is written and how well it is written.  It is up to the author to transfer what they have imagined in their minds out into written word.  An editor tries to aid in that process.

 

        An editor is not responsible for a story's success or failure when submitting it to a publisher, and is not responsible for re-writting someone's story, only to make suggestions on how to improve on what has been written and submitted.   

 

        As it is time consuming, I would ask for a small fee of $1.75 Can. a page (250 words) and, depending on the amount of editting needed and page count, it could take anywhere from a week to a month for the results.
