UNITED STATES OF AMERICA NEEDS WISDOM

WritersPhoto
The United States of America, more commonly referred to as the U.S.A., needs wise reforms in government and society. Our government officials have been doing a terrible job with foreign policy and with domestic policy for a long time. My first remembrances of the news were of images on television of the horrors of the Vietnam war and hearing of an American child being kidnapped and murdered. Both terrible and deadly realities. While most people realize that the Vietnam war was the result of government officials deciding foreign policy would be to have a war upon that country, many people may not realize that the American child being kidnapped and murdered was the result of government officials deciding to have domestic policy of running the court and prison systems in the U.S.A. in such a way as to trivialize such terrible crimes. I've come across newspaper articles relating about murderers being set free which enabled them to commit more murders. This website is to present knowledge and analysis of both foreign and domestic policies of the U.S.A. with hopes that our government officials' corrupt, foolish, and evil ways in these matters can be stopped.

Contrary to what you hear in the news Americans are not being protected. Every day Americans are in danger of being attacked by violent criminals. When such attacks do happen the results can be terrorizing, painful, temporary or permanent injuries, disabilities, and death. Some of the violent crimes are reported to the magistrates and district attorneys, but some are not reported. Many of the rapes, especially to children, are not reported. In some instances when crime victims report violent crimes some magistrates, district attorneys, and judges do not press charges against the criminals. That isn't always because there isn't good evidence. Many times good evidence is ignored. That obstruction of justice and denial of due process of law comes from the minds of magistrates, district attorneys, and judges who trivialzie such crimes or think that the court system is too overloaded to prosecute the crimes. Even for the crimes that do make it into the court system for prosecution so many crimes, even the terrible crimes, are plea bargained so that the criminals get little time in prison. Some of the worst crinimals get probation where they just have to check in with a probation officer at certain times. Some of the worst criminals get set free altogether with no prison time and no probation either. When I refer to the worst criminals I mean murderers, rapists, and child molesters. All of this trivialization of the terrible crimes serves to embolden the criminals to commit more such crimes against the same victims and other people too.

While there are good laws in the law books without enforcement they are useless. For more knowledge and analysis of crime in the U.S.A. including crime statistics and case examples of court system incompetence and corruption go to the website "Wisdom for Courts, Laws and Society" by clicking on the link below. You'll be shocked to see just how much violent crime there is in the U.S.A. and how much of it is directed at the most vulnerable people such as children. I've been a volunteer citizen activist for wise court and law reforms since 1984. Consider to participate in the court and law reforms movement I'm running. Contact me via e-mail message to ask about ways you can be a volunteer citizen activist whether the time you can give is just a few hours a month or more time.

As to the U.S.A. government officials doing a terrible job as to foreign policy many Americans realize that is true while many Americans don't realize that is true. From the television images of the horrors of the Vietam war I realized that was a real life nightmare. At that time I was a youth and uninformed regarding how it came about that the U.S.A.'s elected officials decided to have that war. I had not had any education through the school system about citizen activism against wars. I had some religious education along the lines that while Christ Jesus did get mad about injustices such as when he put the money changers out of the temple (he obviously didn't murder them to accomplish that), he was also called the "Prince of Peace". Since I was a youth at the time I was only able to watch the news about the Vietnam war. I do recall that after many years of the Vietnam war going on, by protesting that war, adult people were able to get that war stopped.

Since I've gotten on the Internet in the last couple of years to get my knowledge and wisdom out to the public about crime and the court system incompetence and corruption, I've been exposed to lots of other people's knowledge and wisdom about other societal problems. I've come across people relating that the President at that time told a lie to the American people regarding an attack on a American ship by Vietnam to get Americans to accept the Vietnam war. I've also been told that in the sea or ocean near Vietnam there has oil that the U.S.A. wanted. I've also read that the President at that time wanted to further enrich his friends who had business in war weapons manufactering.

Now the U.S.A. is engaged in war again but now in the Middle Eastern countries. When I first heard the news of the September 11, 2001 terrorists' attacks upon the U.S.A. that brought tears to my eyes. Some of my first thoughts were with all of the billions or even trillions of U.S.A. tax dollars that have been spent on defense how could such an attack be possible. Later on the Internet I read that the air space along the U.S.A.'s borders are supposed to be guarded by military jets. However, on that day it was reported that orders were being given that were contrary to the best interests of guarding Americans from such attacks.

I've also learned from the Internet that people have come across evidence that convinces them that the September 11, 2001 terrorists' attacks were allowed and even orchestrated by traitorous people - both Americans and foreigners - that wanted an excuse to have wars upon the Middle Eastern countries to take control of their oil. I've read that Saddam Hussein wanted to be paid for the oil in Euros, which have more value than the U.S. dollar, last I heard about 30 cents more value, and that President George W. Bush didn't want to pay for Iraq's oil with Euros. I've read that the real reason for the war upon Afghanistan is to set up a puppet government to enable putting an oil pipeline through that country to transport Iraq's oil to Israel. I've read that the real reason for the war upon Iraq is to set up a puppet government so that the U.S.A. can control the oil and not have to pay for it in Euros. I've learned that some Americans - Bush and his friends - are getting richer from war profiteering from the wars upon Afghanistan and Iraq.

With the cost of the wars upon the Middle Eastern countries and the rebuilding costs it would have been less expensive for the American taxpayers to have paid for Iraq's oil using Euros. The one per cent of Americans that are rich as well as the better off business owners that know how to take advantage of business deductions and tax loopholes won't be paying for the costs of wars and rebuilding. It will be the struggling middle class working Americans whose taxes will pay for those wars and rebuilding. Crisis intervention programs for the lowest income disabled Americans, elderly Americans, and American veterans are also being shortchanged due to costs of war and rebuilding. More such Americans get sicker and die prematurely due to lack of survival needs they can't afford to purchase for themselves.

I've read that thousands of Afghanistan people, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, and many thousands of American soldiers are now dead due to wars upon those countries. Many thousands more have become injured or disabled. Faces, arms, and legs blown off are examples of war's resulting serious injuries and diabilities. I've read that many billions of U.S.A. tax dollars have been spent on those wars. I've read that more wars upon Middle Eastern countries and countries in South America, as they have oil too, are considered desirable by Bush and his team. All such wars are very expensive and putting the U.S.A. further into national debt.

Although Bush has said there won't be a military draft how can keeping the war upon Iraq going on plus having wars upon other countries be accomplished with the present number of voluntary soldiers? The military draft is involuntary servitude, which amounts to slavery. Thus the military draft is unconstitutional. From reading the U.S. Constitution I can tell the U.S.A.'s founders didn't intend for the U.S.A. to be having unnecessary wars upon foreign countries. Any wars were only to be for defence of Americans. These pre-emptive empire building wars were not what the U.S.A. founders had in mind. The first U.S.A. President George Washington even warned about such entanglements with foreign countries.

As a result of the wars upon the Middle Eastern countries resulting in injuries, disabilities, and many premature deaths of foreigners and American soldiers as well as the billions of U.S.A. tax dollars that have been spent are Americans safer? No. The supposed Homeland Security Program hasn't taken the proper measures to make the U.S.A. secure. They completely ignore what is most needed such as securing the U.S.A. borders to keep out illegal aliens. Thus illegal aliens may have already brought nuclear suitcase bombs into the U.S.A. Homeland Security doesn't inspect the sea cargo shipping containers that bring products into the U.S.A. - not even x-rays to detect nuclear bombs. The last I heard on the news they weren't inspecting the luggage that goes into the airplane's cargo areas.

They have made changes that many people identify with the "Orwellian Big Brother" way of treating citizens - very controlling, very much depriving citizens of their constitutional rights. I've read that Patriot Act 1 and the Intelligence Bill that have already been passed into law, without the U.S. Congress even be allowed to read and analyze them, include violations of constitutional rights. I've read that Patriot Act 2, which will, no doubt, be passed into law too, also has constitutional rights violations. Isn't it strange and dangerous to Americans that the U.S. Congress doesn't have the courage to stand up for what's right, to demand to read, analyze, and have the discretion to make wise decisions to best benefit the safety and survival of Americans - the very people they are supposed to be representing?

Due to Bush and his team having wars upon the Middle Eastern countries numerous countries that have nuclear bombs are teaming up together. Russia and China, which both have nuclear bombs, were former rivals during the cold war, but are now allies. They are going to invite India, which also has nuclear bombs, as well as Brazil to be allies in their team. China has a deal with Iran for gas and oil. Iran is one of the countries that Bush is considering to subject to war by the U.S.A. Such war would most likely inspire China with their allies the Russians to retaliate against the U.S.A. - possibly with one or more nuclear bombs. I've read that Bush's team member Condeleeza Rice has recently been scolding Russia's President Putin about Russia's way of running their government. From an Internet news article photo the expression on the faces of both Russia's and China's Presidents made me think they probably both consider the U.S.A.'s President and team to be corrupt, foolish, and evil. How much are those countries going to take off of the U.S.A. President Bush and his team? If Bush and his team don't calm down and start to respect foreign countries, we may soon find out.

While Bush and his team have access to nuclear bomb shelters and stockpiles of survival goods, most Americans aren't prepared for the worst case scenario. That's why the uninformed Americans that are for the unnecessary wars need to be educated about the total picture and hopefully be inspired to be for honor, wisdom, and goodness in regards to foreign policy and be against corruption, foolishness, and evil in regards to foreign policy. This is a bi-partisan issue. Regardless of their political affiliation there are Americans participating in the wars and Americans paying tax dollars to support the wars and rebuilding. If there is a military draft Americans, regardless of their political affiliation, will themselves be drafted into the military as well as children and grandchildren be drafted into the military.

I have a daughter that has just finished college as well as a nephew and a niece that would be in the age range vulnerable to a military draft. But even if I didn't have relatives that would be vulnerable to a military draft, I will discourage unnecessary wars and discourage a military draft for friends and other Americans unknown to me that would be vulnerable to a military draft. When I saw the Iraqi children holding their protest signs against the impending war against them saying, "Please don't kill us", I did write a letter to Bush prior to the war upon Iraq to try to discourage the war upon the civilians and instead to just track down Saddam Hussein and have a very thorough inspection of Iraq. One of Bush's assistants wrote back and let me know the war upon Iraq was going to happen and it did. It appeared to me that many people were for the war upon Iraq because they wanted the U.S.A. to be in control of Iraq's oil. However, the war has stopped the flow of oil out of Iraq. The price of gas is higher now. The price for that war has been many thousands of people dead or disabled, people all around the world mad at the U.S.A., $$billions$$ more added to the national debt which with interest will end up being $$trillions$$ more to the national debt. $6 trillion cost for the Vietnam war and now $7 trillion cost for the wars upon Afghanistan and Iraq. War is expensive!!!

Sincerely,
Deborah Reid
