Little Sioux Bear Hunters
Another bear season has come and gone. It was a good year again. We had 4 tags to fill and all 4 were filled with nice bear. We also had two first time hunters who happened to be a couple of young ladies and were quite successful. We saw many sows with multiple cubs which means the bear are abundant and healthy. We just had our annual bear feed and it went very well. Friends are neighbors attended to share in the plentiful bounty from this year's harvest.
The Wisconsin Bear Hunters Association will be holding their annual convention the first weekend in March again. This is held in Stevens Point and seems to get a larger turn out each year. Please contact any Wisconsin Bear Hunters Assoc member for tickets to win a new truck and numbers of cash prizes.
We will be doing something new this coming year in our group. We have decided to donate one of our tags to the United Special Sportsmen Association. This is a wonderful organization similar to Make a Wish. Please go to their website and check out this great organization. We have a link posted for you. Help them to make dreams come true.

We will also be doing our Highway clean up in the spring and summer. We do this on Memorial Weekend and also Labor Day weekend. We have adopted a 2 mile stretch of highway near where we hunt. Stay tuned, hopefully more to come!!
