-Necessary ice fishing gear
-Ice chisel to reopen holes if necessary
-Warm clothes

Official Derby Rules
*All anglers must comply with Ontario Fish & Game laws. Fish must be legally & freshly caught from the designed derby location by a ticket holder.
*All members of fishing party must be registered with their own derby ticket.
*Child 14 years and younger must be represented and supervised by a registered adult.
*Valid fishing license, derby ticket and positive ID must be shown to claim prize.
*Contestants must fish in the area designated for the contest.
*All fish must be registered prior to 3:00PM on February 23rd.
*All prizes awarded by weight. In cause of tie, length will be the determinate factor. Earliest entry will be the final tie-breaker. One prize per ticket.
*Derby Judges have final approval of registered fish & have the absolute right to inspect or exclude any fish.
*All fish become property of the Derby Judging Panel until the end of the derby and must be picked up no later then 4PM on Saturday, if you want your fish.
*Absolutely no refunds unless thr Derby is cancelled.
*The Northwest Angle #37 First Nation & Officials and volunteers are not liable for any injury or loss of life to thin ice. By entering you accept responsibility for your own safety and the knowledge of your surroundings.
*Contestant gives permission to use photographs taken at the Derby for advertising purposes.
AT THE DISCRETION OF OFFICIALS THE DERBY MAY BE CANCELLED FOR ANY REASON.
