Lets Change Britain
I find it hard to believe that the trials, which mankind underwent not so long ago has been completely lost on this generation. I am talking about FREEDOM, the beliefs which hundreds of men and women have fought for since the beginning of humankind.
Many people have heard the shocking news that Tony Blair announced concerning the introduction of ID cards into the British society.
The thought of the Government knowing all of my personal details sends a shiver down my spine. The eerie echoes of, George Orwell's, 1984 run through my mind as i read newspaper upon newspaper article on the Government's "new" idea. I say new but really these ID cards have existed around the world for years and still do. The Spanish ID cards were of no help to the Spanish public during the tragic Madrid bombings and i can't quite grasp why they will be of any help to Britain. Do we really need these ID cards??? Do we really need to spend £3 billion on a project,which may not even work, when there are starving families struggling to stay alive in Africa???
I just wonder how long it will take for the Government to introduce chips, which will track our every movement because, hell, we're heading straight that way.
Hundreds of thousands of asylum seekers enter this country in hope of safety and freedom. We, as a nation, are led to believe that we live in an equal, multi-cultural society. However, the truth is much more horrifying than that.
