My sincerest, humblest apologies for the lack of updates over the last weeks - school just got in the way too much. Coming Soon dates have been revised, and around 20 more coming soon listings have been added. The New Discs and Catch-Ups within that section have now been combined, and finally, the 'All Reviews' section is now on a separate page. Apologies again, the next review WILL be here tomorrow though - the new 'Friends' S1.

Sorry about my review-posting-lack-of recently, I've been totally tied up. There should be a couple reviews later tonight; if not, definitely tomorrow. I'm thinking of making a separate site too, "Wezzo's DVD News", with regularly-updated R1 and R2 DVD news. If you like the idea, support it by mailing me. The 'coming soon' review dates have been updated, too. See you all.
---------------
02nd January 2004; 20:50
The two reviews promised are here; David Blaine: Above The Below and Only Fools and Horses: Series 6. See you soon!

01st January 2004; 13:25
Right, 2003's over and done with already! To celebrate the new year, I've done a new article for the site - "My Top DVD's Of 2003". There's a top 20 for TV shows, a top 10 for movies, and a top 5 for special interest/music. Hope you enjoy it! Reviews will return tomorrow.

01st January 2004; 00:13
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

31st December 2003; 22:46
Just an hour or so left of 2003, where I live (the UK)! Just another note to say Happy New Year. Have a great one.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

SITE BASICS
The collection of reviews I have here is indeed limited, but I hope you enjoy the reviews I do have. There are currently around 60 listed, and that number will increase as and when I buy more DVD's. Enjoy!

My Top DVD's Of 2003 - My favourite discs of the year - a top 20 for Television, a top 10 for Movies, and a top 5 for Music and Special Interest.

Guide To Rating Extras - How I rate extras on DVD's.

A GUIDE TO THE REVIEWS
Categories:
Main Feature: My thoughts on the main movie or TV show.
Packinging: Well-built, sturdy metal boxset, or cardboard rubbish?
Audio: The quality of the audio - is it mere mono or dazzling DTS?
Video: The video transfer's quality - full-frame, widescreen, grainy, edge-enhancement, colour?
Price: Very good value.. or overpriced by a mile?
Extras: Documentaries, deleted scenes and commentaries galore, or "Scene Selection; Interactive Menus; Subtitles in English"?
Guide 'Family-Friendly' Rating: Suitable for all, or just the adults? Doesn't count toward overall score. (Ratings are ALL - 3 and up, GUIDANCE - 8 and up, TEEN - 12 and up, MATURE TEEN - 15 and up, ADULT - 18 and up).
Overall: My overall thoughts on the DVD. Most important are main feature and extras, but picture, audio, price and packaging comes into account too. Not a straight average.
Average: A straight average of the gradings.
