Now 2003: The DVD

  • 90 mins
  • 1 discs
  • 4:3
  • Stereo

    Main Feature:
This is the second of three - so far - Now DVD releases based on the compilation series, this time containing 24 videos as opposed to the first volume's 16. Note that the year number has changed - whilst this was released at the end of 2002, it still carries the 'Now 2003' name.
This time, the videos aren't as good in my opinion - there seems to be a little too much filler and dance around tracks 13 to 23. But there's still some damn good stuff here; and again all tastes are catered for - pop with Atomic Kitten, S Club 7, Ronan; dance with X-Press 2, DJ Otzi, Christina Milian; r'n'b with Blue and Samantha Mumba.. something for everyone. The videos are good in many cases too, Blue, S Club 7 and Sophie-Ellis Bextor stand out. The complete track listing:
1 Atomic Kitten - The Tide Is High (Get The Feeling)
    2 Sugababes - Round Round
    3 Blue - One Love
    4 Ashanti - Foolish
    5 Liberty X - Just A Little
6 Ronan Keating - I Love It When We Do
7 Nickleback - How You Remind Me
    8 S Club 7 - You
9 Sophie Ellis-Baxtor - Murder On The Dancefloor
10 Christina Milian - When You Look At Me
11 Beenie Man Featuring Janet Jackson - Feel It Boy
    12 Samantha Mumba - I'm Right Here
13 DJ Ötzi & Hermes House Band - Live Is Life
    14 Lasgo - Something
    15 X-Press 2 Featuring David Byrne - Lazy
    16 Doves - Pounding
17 Dirty Vegas - Days Go By
18 Moony - Dove (I'll Be Loving You)
19 Tim Deluxe Featuring Sam Obernik - It Just Won't Do

    23 Mad'House - Like A Prayer

    Audio:
They didn't learn from last time. Still Stereo. Bah. 3/10

    Video:
4:3. Clear enough, a little compression and artifacting but nothing too bad. 7/10

    Price:
Not worth more than £10, try to find it for less. 6/10

    Extras:
Not as many as last time - just a quiz/competition (comp now out of date), and a few photo galleries. 3/10

    Packaging:
A more normal snapper case, holds the disc well. 7/10

    Overall:
Good music on bad disc. 44%

    Family-Friendly Rating:
All, it's only msuic after all.
