    Main Feature:
As usual I'm too lazy to do a synoposis, so here's one from Amazon UK:
Paul is a very successful writer of the "Misery" novels. After finishing writing a novel that was solely for himself, he gets caught up in a terrible snowstorm and gets into a serious car accident. He surely would've died if it had not been for his number one fan, Annie, rescuing him from his car and nursing him back to health while his fractured legs heal. Just when he thinks he's the luckiest guy in the world, he slowly starts to learn that Annie just might not be that much of a wonderful person, especially when it comes to a point where she's literally holding him hostage in her house in the middle of nowhere. Paul used to write for a living... now, he must write to save his very life.

Frankly, it's an amazing film with amazing acting, amazing suspense based on Stephen King's best novel. It's aterrific tale, and once you start watching you won't be able to stop, honestly. It keeps to the book quite well, albeit shortening it as necessary. There are several scenes that come close to being my favourite, but the real best one is a scene where Paul is 'hobbled' .. I won't explain, watch to find out ;). The film develops at a good pace, and it gradually becomes more apparent just who Annie is. Those who've read the book, you won't be disappointed; those who haven't, you may as well see this anyway! Excellent, Kathy Bates and James Cann really do themselves proud! 10/10

    Audio:
Awesome DD 5.1, can't pick at it at all. Really clear, excellent ambience. Top. 10/10

    Video:
Nice widescreen, very clear picture, no real faults. 8/10

    Price:
Can be found for about £15-17, fair enough. 7/10

    Extras:
There's a fair amount here, there is! To kick-start, there's two commentaries on the feature; one from director Rob Reiner, and the other with writer William Goldman. Both are very interesting and give interesting anecdotes and facts, but both are quite similar, and there are a few gaps here and there. Good overall though! There are also 2 documentaries, put together totalling 45 minutes; one about the film in general, entitled 'Misery Loves Company', lasting about 30 mins - very, very interesting, I really recommend it. The other is 'Marc Shiaman's Musical Misery Tour', 15 minutes or so, looking behind the scenes at the music creation process. Certainly again very interesting! Finally to round off the set, there's a couple of rather brilliant trailers, and a photo gallery. A very good set. 8/10

    Packaging:
Black snapper case, holding the disc very well. There's a booklet with it, about 16 pages, packing with interesting info - certainly an added bonus. Overall, excellent. 9/10

    Overall:
Excellent film on excellent disc. 86%

    Family-Friendly Rating:
Certainly an Adult, there's some strong language, and some very strong horror, suspense and violence.
