Ralph Smith and Emma Girdlestone's children
My great-great-grandfather Ralph Smith probably taken while in his 60s or 70s. He was married too my great-great-grandmother Emma Girdlestone
Ralph and Emma had nine children the youngest of which is my great-grandmother Alice Girdlestone Smith. Alice resembles her dad.
All the children - including Mary Jane - were given the middle name of Girdlestone.
Frederick born 19 Sept. 1863. He married Clara Burnahm on 9 July 1884. Frederick died 8 Feb. 1953. I recently came across a picture of Uncle Fred located here
Emma Jr. was born 18 May 1865. She married John Perry on 24 Dec 1882. She died 7 June 1927.
Joseph "Curly Joe" was born 6 Nov. 1866. He was first married to Alice Watson. They had several children and were later divorced. He later married Martha Hoffman in Shoshone, Idaho USA. He died 20 June 1937.
Albert was born 23 Aug 1868 and died 11 Oct. 1869. There is no picture of him that I know of. I believe he was quite sickly that year following his birth.
Edward was born 17 April 1870. He was married to Cloe Ann Beirdneau on 6 May 1891. He died 28 Dec. 1929.
William was born 28 March 1872. He married Violet Christofferson on 17 Feb 1915. He died 1 May 1939.
George was born 22 Nov. 1873. He married to Emily Farnes on 26 Feb 1902. He died 18 May 1950.
Alice was born 3 July 1876. She married Joseph C. Jenson 21 Sept. 1899. She died 24 July 1936.
