Headstone of Thomas Girdlestone
Pictured here is what may be the headstone of my great-great-Uncle Thomas Girdlestone, the son of my great-great-great-grandparents Thomas Girdlestone and Mary Betts. My cousin Barbara Girdlestone, who shot this picture says she was able to find the death date 1864 which is the same year that Thomas and Mary's son died. He is buried at the church cemetary in Barnham Boom just up the road from Wramplingham and Marlingford where the family lived. I know the Girdlestone's extended family lived at Barnham Boom at one time so I'm sure that this is my uncle Thomas. Thank you Barbara!
