Eleana Castillo arrives in Las Flores, Texas from Mexico to work and meet her brother, Carlos, who is already working there. However, when Eleana arrives, Carlos has disappeared without a trace. Her sister-in-law, Carlotta, is missing too and may have entered the country illegally.

Eleana searches the mall and other places Carlos has told her about, trying to find him and keeping in touch with her family in Mexico hoping for some word about Carlotta.

As Eleana searches for her brother, her Spanish Eyes capture the atention and affection of Oliver Avery, a handsome artist who teaches art at the local college. He wants to help her and can make everything better - or as she fears, much worse.

As Oliver gets his friend, Matt, and his brother Luke (who is the Sheriff in Las Flores) to looking for Carlos, Eleana walks a tightrope of fear and deception between her family, the authorities, and her love.

Will she lose Oliver's love? Can she find Carlos in time? And where is Carlotta?
