The first news is: The first Zumaya Publications Merrivale cozy mystery will be out November, 2009 with a new Merrivale mystery each year. Look for THE DEVIL IN MERRIVALE on Amazon, order from bookstores or Zumaya.

My speaking at the opening of the new Jacksonville, AR library April 16th was well attended and I want to thank all of you who came and are reading this for your interest and support.

This site has a page with information about each of my books as well as a page for announcements and general news. Click on the drop down menu to go to the page you want to see.

I've also got three finished scripts to sell. If you are an agent or know of one who is taking new clients, I am seeking representation for my scripts and would like to hear from you.

All my books in print are available here if I have some on hand (I don't charge S&H in the continental United States) and there are two pay-pal buttons for those who prefer that method of payment. Send checks or money orders to me at P.O. Box 725, Cabot, Arkansas 72023 and print out the name you want in the signature.

My books may be ordered from bookstores too. If you have the book sent to the bookstore (B&N for instance) there is no S&H, but there is S&H if you have the book sent to your address. I know this works because I've signed copies for people who said that's how they got them. Plus, I went by the customer service desk and checked to confirm this.

Also, for e-book readers, please check out the things I've put on Kindle. There are novels, short stories, and LIGHTEN UP which is some random colulmns from the humor column I used to do before the deadlines started piling up on me - not that that is a bad thing - ha! Also, there are the reading scripts mentioned above.

FYI, dear cozy lovers, as indicated above, I've recently signed a contract for the entire Maryvale series (now spelled Merrivale).The first Zumaya Publications Merrivale cozy mystery (The Devil in Merrivale is scheduled for November, 2009 with a new cozy each year. Some of the original (first editions) of the first two (The Devil in Maryvale and The Nelson Scandal, are still available here (as long as my supply lasts) and Recipe for Trouble (the third Maryvale) is still available in HC from Five Star. Zumaya's editor is now in receipt of a fourth Merrivale cozy and there will be a new Merrivale mystery each year for as long as I can see the monitor - so look for more.
