This inconspicuous car bullies the 911 GT3...

Here is some information after the conversion:

MAKE: VW CTI 1.8

YEAR MODEL: 1992

ENGINE: Rebored to 82.5mm results in a total engine size of 1856cc (just for that little extra guts after the lowered compression),fitted 38mm exhaust valves and left the intake valvles standard, gas flowed the cylinder head, ported the cylibder head, fitted machined conrods to the bottom end, fitted a racing sump with a total of a 5 litre oil capacity which includes baffles and oil deflectors with chambers to hold oil and keep the pickup constantly "wet", fitted a 12 row oil cooler, machined and fitted an exhaust manifold to house the Mitsubishi TD05 16G Turbo charger, custom built the intercooler and fitted it in front of the radiator, designed and fitted the charge piping to and from the intercooler and turbocharger, fitted slotted and grooved front disc brakes with kevlar EBC pads (550 degrees Celcius), ran a 63mm Bosal exhaust system with one silencer, fitted a BMC cone air filter.

ELECTRONICS: Domingo programmable engine management system, EGT - Exhaust gas temperature analyser.

SUSPENSION: Eibach 40mm drop.

BODY WORK: Standard CTI (this is why it is so inconspicuous..)

I.C.E: JVC Front loader, one 12" pioneer Sub and a set of Pioneer 6 x 9's with a CRUNCH USA 1504 Ampplifier.

EXTRA'S: Front spliter (black), two head light badgeless grill.

POWER OUTPUT: 250Kw on crank, and 210Kw on front wheels, 450NM torque at 4500rpm.

PERFORMANCE: 0 - 100Km/H 4.3 seconds with moderate wheel spin, 1/4 mile time with standard tryes 13.8 seconds, Speed Oval terminal speed 238Km/H, Oval speed was achieved while racing to beat a Subaru Impreza WRX STI and beat it by 13km/H (225)

CARS PUNISHED: Porsche 911 carerra 4, BMW M3 (supercharged), Subaru WRX STI, NEW BMW M5, Mitsubishi 3000 GTR4, Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo, many other embarresed candidates also had wake up calls - too many to mention.
