Groom & Bride
As you stand before family and friends today, remember you have
made the ultimate decision to become one in marriage.
You have not come to this moment swiftly, but gradually in love
You did not come here out of obligation, but of mutual respect
Therefore, as you speak your vows, remember that today is the beginning of a long road you have chosen to travel.
Though this road may sometimes have bumps and unseen turns, the love and respect
you have nurtured will be your guide from this day forward.
Remember to always say I love you, to always put each other first and to never take each other for granted.
Groom, do you take Bride to be your wedded wife, to live together in marriage.

I love you because you are the One who completes me.
I cannot know union without you
for it is by joining you that I learn
about Love's union and where it comes from.
I love you because it is my soul mission in Life to learn our Love.
I do not so much seek to heal you, but to embrace our Love that fills our Life as a way of healing each other.
I see your Love for me in your eyes and I see what freedom is, what True Love is.

Marriage Ceremony of Groom and Bride
Marriage brings two people together not only in the present, but in the presence of their past, of the lives they have led, the choices they have made, the lessons that have shaped and reshaped their minds and hearts. Nothing you ever do in life is wasted or lost. Everything leading up to this moment was of value, everything taught you something, and was a step on the path that brought you here.
Your love for each other extends beyond the human capacity to put into words what is inside you. It can’t be measured or touched, even by you. It is more powerful than your past and the foundation for your future. Your love is the essence of your lives. It is to be nurtured, to be lived out to the fullest in every aspect of its dreams, in the simple ceremonies of shard daily life, in realized hopes and long-deferred plans. It has brought you to this moment to become one in the eyes of family and friends.
Be thankful for one another. Love is always a gift. A great compliment is being paid to you when you receive each other’s love, another opportunity to love and to extend your circle of love. Not everyone is given this opportunity; not everyone in life experiences the joy of loving and being loved.
The vows you are about to speak are a verbal representation of a deep commitment to each other. May they be followed by loyalty and devotion.
Rings are objects of adornment, and while, in a single lifetime we have many objects of adornment, we have among them always the one that is most precious to us. May the love these rings symbolize be, to the end of your days, your most precious adornment.
Groom and Bride have chosen special vows to express their love…
Groom, please take this ring and place it on Bride finger and speak the words you have chosen to make her your wife.
I Groom, take you, Bride, with all my heart to be my wife and best friend for life. My love for you brings with it the promise to stand beside you through the good and the bad, through joy and sorrow. I want to spend the rest of my life hearing your thoughts and seeing your dreams. I promise to do my best to make our lives better and better from this day on.
Bride, please take this ring and place it on Groom finger and speak the words you have chosen to make him you husband.
I Bride, take you, Groom to be my best friend, my partner and my one true love. I will love, trust and honor you today tomorrow and forever. I will laugh with you and cry with you. When times are good I will love you and when they are bad I will love you more. Whatever may come I will always be there. I promise that I will love you faithfully as long as I live.
Groom, do you choose Bride, to be your wedded wife to live together in the holy estate of marriage? Do you promise to love, honor and respect her from this day forward? Groom: I DO

PRAYER
Bless this marriage, O God, as Bride and Groom continue their journey down the road of life together. We don’t know what lies ahead for the road turns and bends. But help them to make the best of whatever comes their way. Help them to realize that if they will hold onto each other, they will know that things have a way of working out for the good. But most of all, dear God, help them to keep lit the torch of love that they now share in their hearts. Amen.
These rings you wear

The Art of Marriage
Groom and Bride
The little things are the big things.
It is never being too old to hold hands.
It is remembering to say "I love you" at least once a day.
It is never going to sleep angry.
It is at no time taking the other for granted;
the courtship should not end with the honeymoon,
it should continue through all the years.
It is having a mutual sense of values and common objectives.
It is standing together facing the world.
It is forming a circle of love that gathers in the whole family.
It is doing things for each other, not in the attitude
of duty or sacrifice,
but in the spirit of joy.
It is speaking words of appreciation and demonstrating
gratitude in thoughtful ways.
It is not expecting the husband to wear a halo or the wife to have wings of an
angel.
It is not looking for perfection in each other.
Will you Groom and Bride, as an expression that your hearts are joined together in love, please join your hands.
Groom, do you take Bride, to be your wedded wife, to live together in marriage.

Groom and Bride
Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be shelter for the other. Now you will feel no cold, for each of you will be warmth to the other. Now there will be no loneliness, for each of you will be companion to the other. Now you are two persons, but there is only one life before you. May beauty surround you both in the journey ahead and through all the years, May happiness be your companion and your days together be good and long upon the earth.
Treat yourselves and each other with respect, and remind yourselves often of what brought you together. Give the highest priority to the tenderness, gentleness and kindness that your connection deserves. When frustration, difficult and fear assail your relationship - as they threaten all relationships at one time or another - remember to focus on what is right between you, not only the part which seems wrong. In this way, you can ride out the storms when clouds hide the face of the sun in your lives - remembering that even if you lose sight of it for a moment, the sun is still there. And if each of you takes responsibility for the quality of your life together, it will be marked by abundance and delight.
