Simply enjoying God's natural Creation - that's what this page is all about...
So therefore, although I have shared my personal religious testimony on another web page, (see link below), I've decided to devote the page that you are now reading to just sharing a few thoughts of universal hope based on the indicated presence of a loving and personal Creator God: as is evidenced through the timeless beauty, order, and wondrous grandeur of nature - God's own creation. Yes, even though nature is constantly changing, there nevertheless seems to be continued evidence in nature of the "upholding hand" of a personal God.
I've found that simply realizing that there IS a personal Creator God, upholding not only nature but also actually upholding people, has tended to give me a certain sense of hope. And perhaps such a thought could give you some hope and some comfort today too. So... if you can this day, (or this night), just take a moment to stop and to simply enjoy God's natural creation - the trees, the flowers, the sky, the stars, the birds, the animals, etc. ...just simple things, really. Then perhaps by doing this, you too may be able to experience a certain sense of hope in these rapidly changing and uncertain times. Enjoy! The idea here is to simply try to experience the constant and the caring "hand" of God - even in the most simple of things. Sometimes enjoying simple things such as these can make life just a bit more enjoyable, and can even seem to make hope appear to be a bit more real.
Oh yes, just as an afterthought: perhaps you may happen to live in a large city (such as I once did). If so, then "getting close to nature" may prove to be somewhat of a challenge! But possibly you could just take a moment to savor the delicious smells outside of an all-night "deli," marvel at a tree growing out of the concrete, feed the always hungry pigeons, or experience the snow on the city streets (and yes folks, it actually does snow in the city). But whatever - just take a little time to experience the moment of some good and God-provided thing that is simple, uncomplicated, and natural. And as you do so, perhaps you can also allow yourself (just for the moment) to be grateful to God the Creator for these simple but enjoyable things. And in this way, maybe even you "city folks" will be able to better experience nature - and also the God who created it.
*A FAR GREATER AND MORE LASTING HOPE: Several years ago, I had prayed to the only God whom I could believe in - the personal God who created the things in nature (the natural creation) - to ask: "What is the truth?" The answer which I received (or heard) at that time, genuinely, and in my heart, very much surprised me - perhaps because it had been right before me all along.
