SINCE THE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR DOES NOT WANT TO HAVE VOLLEYBALL AS PART OF THEIR OFFERING...
I WILL START BRINGING SOME PEOPLE WITH ME TO GEORGIA TECH ... WE CAN MEET at the church at Wednesdays at 6PM call me at 404-387-0442 email can be slow. TT
This is a pretty great place by the way.
Not only is Christianity the main part of
our Menu,
but .... we have a Gymnasium for Recreational Activities

which is OK as it is to be an

(in the Fellowship Hall)
.. we are going to play Volleyball.
Friday night 6pm to 8pm is another possiblity
(as it is unpopular with all other activities!)

I am trying to get the 1st two weeks free ..
Until we organize into teams. Initally we will probably
only get one court... so email me soon for your interest!!
We are going to try to get 2 courts going for two hours,
eventurally OR more likely another session on Friday nite!
Tom Hope will have to charge us after that;
and I will try to get the best rates as possible
for a 8 week session. Cost to individuals should be
in the vicinity or $25 for the 10 weeks.
[that is 2.50 per night - assuming we have 4 teams and both courts for two hours each] ... they may access us a little more
but that has not been determined yet.
Teams of 6 or 8 members will be accessed some $150 each.
The above is based on 3 or 4 Teams or 20 to 30 players.
Probably One match at 1:30 and another match at 3:30 will be
the routine when things get going in full swing.
If the YMCAs and other Church get envolved in participating
an 'A' League & a "B" League.
This will be a trial.
Pastor Don Barbar will be playing (some?)
and I hope that Vic Pentz (the Beach Bum from California, also out esteemed Senior Pastor) will participate.
(He is really a pretty, nice guy!)

I hope I can talk my Lady Dogs
into coming down for a VolleyBall Clinic.
I supported my friends from the UGA's
Women's Volleyball Team for three years, so far!
Maybe Cindy Young, Kristine Keese, Stacey Beurger
Rebecca Dady and MAYBE (even) the FANTASTIC SETTER
Mindy Westfall.
Cindy was a 4 year scholarship athlete
and has been assistint coach for 5 years.
She and I played together on my team in Florida.

for a job in athletics. Contact me or her, if you know anyone looking for a first class young lady.
In the mean time, practice passing,
put you name on your ball and put your gym clothes in a bag
in the truck of you car! If we cannot get a court we can
always go out in the parking lot and pass the ball, right.
just until we begin. Anyone with enought flat lawn can
start a 'grass' court, as well I will help you all set it up
I think I still can find my net and standards!!
