I began collecting vintage phonograph records in 1958 while still a freshman in college. When I sold my collection in 1967, I had accumulated over six hundred rare and unusual 78's. My favorite artists were the renowned Irish tenor John McCormack, opera star Enrico Caruso, and the very popular Henry Burr.
