Book: Silver Avions and Cayos by Robert Muncy. There are a number of photos of ATC and SAF Rallies and many others concerning Avion/Cayo history, etc. (about 200 photos altogether) in the book. Also there are several photos of repair work by Cayo Repair Service being done to some "totaled Avions". These Avion coaches required new ribs, skin, inside cabinet work, etc. There are also some photos of some custom built campers and even a class C motor home that Bill Cayo built in the mid 1980s. More photos of the book are in Muncy's Photo Gallery in the "Photo of Book Album."

The link at the bottom entitled: BOB'S VIEW EXTENDED is using a free web source (Weebly) which permits me to post photos plus text on a variety of topics. Currently, there are three pages on this link: one called HOME which promotes my book, one called VINTAGE UPGRADE which explores various points-of-view concerning the different approaches regarding the repair/renovation/restoration of old RVs (i.e., vintage antique/classic) RVs. and a NOTICES page which lists a number of vintage photo albums of Rallies, including a movie. These albums are cross-listed with Phil Muncy's Archives. After accessing one of the albums which can be enlarged in the slide/show feature, each of the other albums can be opened by clicking the headings at the top.
You will enjoy the material in the VINTAGE UPGRADE page covering Terry Bone's 1957 Avion (which formerly was owned by his parents and by Bill Cayo before then). I raised some questions about whether this super nice restored Avion would ever be modernized with an A/C, appliance upgrades, etc. and Terry responded. Not only did he answer these questions, but he also listed other links, including photos, that describe his style in Vintage ownership. All of these sources can be accessed by first opening Bob's View Extended and then by clicking the VINTAGE UPGRADE listing at the top of that page.
