LET ME INTRODUCE OUR VENUE.....
On 31 August 2003, French chanteuse Danièle Pascal and long-time business partner Eugène Lebreton opened Villa Pascal as an intimate multi-cultural music and events venue. Villa Pascal is situated in the heart of Durbanville, on the wine route and close to the golf club, offering entertainment to discerning music lovers.
Villa Pascal’s unique concept of old- world intimate theatre makes it ideal for entertaining clients and hosting corporate and year-end functions, small private functions, seminars, etc. We have been operating very successfully and have become a very popular entertainment and tourist destination. - ”there is always a seat available” has become our venue motto. We are wheelchair and Pink friendly and if you do not mind three exquisite whippets, you will have a memorable time! Seating is reserved and dress code is informal and relaxed. At Villa Pascal there is something for everybody!
We are not licensed, and you can bring your picnic basket. For some of our events we do hire in bar and catering services. We are fully equipped with piano, sound and lighting equipment, and experienced technical personnel on standby. We also provide full technical support for presentations, seminars and small corporate events.
At Villa Pascal, we are committed to keep the Arts Alive in Durbanville, and can provide that bridge between commerce and culture by establishing a network with local businesses.
One of our aims is also to develop and launch new entertainers. At each of our soirees, we try and introduce new talent. During 2003-2007 we played host to varied entertainment genres and themes, from cabaret, tributes shows, revues, jazz, classical, opera, holistic workshops, tango and Argentinean music, world music, Cajun, French, blues and rock ‘n roll. We presented several top international acts amongst other such as Woogie Boogie pianist Steve BIG MAN Clayton and International Jazz Diva Opie Bellas from San Francisco.
We have successfully introduced Open Mic Sessions as a platform for emerging entertainers of all genres, as well our monthly Jazz Lounge Series where patrons can relax after work and listen to laidback/cocktail jazz. This has become an excellent opportunity for business networking, branding of products and meeting people. a UNIQUE RENDEZ-VOUS!
