SEGA
This is one of the first consoles to break the line of double digit bits into the triple digit bits. Since the 128 bit Dreamcast came out no system has out numbered the system in bits. Even the ps2 is a 128 bit system. The bad news, bits no longer matter. The inner core of gaming consoles now mean much more than who has more bits than who. A 64 bit console could now graphically beat a 128 bit console if done properly. Besides the fact that the DC is in second place now it is still a great system well worth buying and playing for years to come. Yes it's days are limited on the DC but Sega will continue on for other systems including the GameCube, Playstation 2, and the Xbox. This will be great, for it will allow sega to concentrate their efforts on games rather than their consoles which usually live short lives.
One of the most promising upcoming titles for the DC include Shenmue II, Half Life, and Sonic Adventure 2.
