I am looking for any relatives of Philippe LUCE (son of Elie LUCE /
Elizabeth SORSOLEIL : I have more on the SORSOLEIL line) b.29 jul 1826
in St Helier : Bap.11 sep 1826 in Ancienne Chapelle Indépendante de Halkett Place, St. Helier,Jersey : d.1892 in Miscou Island, Gloucester County, New-Brunswick, Canada.
Elie son of Jean/Susanne le Gros ; Jean son of Jean/Elizabeth Luce ;
Jean son of Edouard/Marie Le Cras ; Edouard son of Edouard/Izebel Piquot : Edouard son of Edouard : Edouard son of Jean : Jean son of Martin : Martin son of Perrin.
Philippe married Joanne HELLYER;HELYER (1824-26 aug 1865)(daugh. James/Elizabeth Knight.) on 11 jul 1847 in St-Helier. They had at least 5 children and 2 survived: one son and one daughter.
William Henry LUCE b. 25 jan 1853 Mont Cochon, St Helier, Jersey and Mary Elizabeth LUCE b. 03 apr 1856 St Aubin Road, St Helier.
William married Helen GARRETT on 8 may 1876 In Bathurst, Gloucester County, NB, Canada. They had 9 children.
Mary Elizabeth married Francis George SCOTT in 1880 in the Anglican Church in Paspébiac,Province of Quebec, Canada. They had 6 Children.
Philip emigrated to Canada in or before 1861.
His 2nd mariage was to Anne/Ann WARD b.1844, d. Nov. 1915 of Miscou Island, on 4 may 1863 in the Catholic Church at Paspébiac, P. of Quebec.
They had 7 children and the eldest one Charles Philip LUCE b. 01-may-1864, d.29 aug 1941 is my grandfather. He married Marie Anne VALLÉE on 19 jun 1886 in Lameque, NB.
1. Looking for relative of Joanne HELLYER;HELYER, b. abt.1824, bap. 14 march 1824 in St-John, Cornwall, England, d. 26 aug 1865 daughter of James Hellyer;Helyer/Elizabeth Knight.
Also any relatives of Elizabeth SORSOLEIL.
PS: I have more on the SORSOLEIL line.
2. Looking for any relatives of all the above people or any related facts which could be incorrect and ancestors of Philippe LUCE.
3. Looking for any relatives of Edouard LUCE/Izebel PIQUOT, m.5.11.1670 in St. Lawrence, Jersey.
4.Looking for the parents of Ebenezer/Elbenezer WARD married(where and when ?) to Mary GRAY. Their son William, the father of Anne above, was born bet. 1807 and 1811 in Quebec province, Canada, married in Percé (Gaspé Coast) on 09 oct 1832 to Marie BEZEAU/BEZEAULT, born aft 1811 in Quebec province.
I have no leads on Marie Gray either. Received lately that the possibility of Ebenezer was in the revolutionary war(USA) prior arriving on the Gaspé Coast. Any leads will be very much appreciated.
