VFW 8469 Post Home is located at 5703 Vogue Road and is easy to find. Just head south
on route 123 from Fairfax City, Turn RIGHT on Fairfax Station Road, go past old St.
Mary's Church. That's where Clara Barton started the RED CROSS during the Civil War.
Turn LEFT on Tinkers Lane which turns into Vogue Road. Turn LEFT to our Post Home
which is the first house on the RIGHT. The one with 3 FLAGs out in front. This house
was built in 1899, the same year that the VFW was started.

We don't have a BAR, or do BINGO, or Ladies Auxiliary, or permit SMOKING.
However we have over 30% attendance at each meeting, salute the flag, say a few prayers,
and help fellow Veterans and our local Community.

VFW 8469 has a meeting on the first Monday of each month, starting at 7:10 PM, except
for July and December. In July some of our Post members march in the Fairfax City
parade followed by a picnic in our back yard. In December, we have a Christmas Party.

If your eligible, come join us, good time guaranteed.

What do you do with your old worn out U.S. FLAGS ?

Bring them to our Post Home for proper disposal.....

Just leave them in the recepticle on our front porch.
