Low cost horse training in Las Vegas, Nevada. 19+ years experience in working and training horses and western pleasure riding lessons. Colt starting is my specialty. I work with problem horses. Older horses as well. I use several different styles of training I learned from these fine trainers, Monty Roberts, Richard Shrake, Clinton Anderson, Larry Trocha, Pat Parelli and a few others, and I have designed my own techniques.

COLT STARTING
1. I will start your horse, with ground manners and handling them.
2. Lunging and ground work.
3. Saddling, bitting up, collection.
4. Mounting, moving forward.
5. Whoa. (sliding stops are available)
6. Backing, left and right directions. Off my legs and a little bit of use with the bit.
7. Pivots, side passing, roll backs.
8. Jog (Trot)
9. Gallop (Canter)
10. Collection.
In the end your horse will be Greenbroke. Your horse will be responsive to leg pressure and light on the bit. Your horse will have ground manners. I ride all my horses out on trails, along with arena work.
