Volleyball Chica
I have grown up with and intense passion for a sport that I feel doesn't get enough credit. Volleyball I feel is the greatest game to ever be invented. I think that every little girl should have the chance to see a professional volleyball game in their life time. But sadly the united states doesn't have a professional volleyball league.
THE OBSESSION BEGINS
It was 1996 and I was in gym class when our teacher Mr. Hill announced to the class that we would be starting our Volleyball unit. Because I was a little 12 year old I didn't exactly understand the concept of this game that would soon be the main focus of my life. I patiently listened to the rules like the sweet little girl that I was and was immediately intrigued by the rules and object of this foreign game. As a stepped to line to attempt my first serve and to my amazement it went over. I was amazed at the fact that I was actually good at something so when I heard about the intramural volleyball after school and I joined immediately. And the rest is history.
