Varmintstalker
Welcome to my homepage. Let me begin by saying that this page is dedicated to my father (cat tracks), without his guidance and wisdom in varmint hunting I would not be doing what I love most. I began hunting coyotes at the age of nine. At night I would stand with my father in the back of the pickup, before there were calling chairs, while he worked the spotlight and blew the hand calls. During the day we would check his traps to see if we had trapped a coyote, bobcat or fox.
This page is where I can share a little information about varmint hunting with other people who may not have ever hunted varmints or may have been hunting for quite some time. I do not have all the answers to hunting these predators, but I will share with you what works for me. I have also gathered a wealth of information and experience from my hunting partner (vmaster59) who has been hunting longer than I have, but his teacher in the beginning was also my father.
I will be posting information and photographs of varmints that we have taken. There will also be an email link that you may access to contact me with any suggestions or comments. I would like to quote my partner as he likes to say, "Varmint hunting is when the hunter becomes the prey!"
Sincerely,
Varmintstalker
