Vale tudo is a combination of many martial arts forms in which I and many others
participate in.
I train at the Colosseum gym in leigh, we are one of the very
few clubs in the north of England that particpate in this art form.
Several of us fight in amatuer competitions which are held all
over the country, mainly in the south. There is one competition that I
know of that is held in the north and that is in Sunderland. This is held
by Ian Freeman another brilliant fighter. I am the current north east amatuer champion
in the under 65kg catagory and i think i will be defending my title
in April.

Our instructor is Danny Rushton the current british heavy weight
vale tudo champion. Danny is a brilliant fighter and has the spirit and
determination to go to high hights in the fighting circle.
