Wherever we shop these days it is impossible to find things that are made in a Democracy. I used to see products, 10 - 15 years ago, that were made in Japan, Taiwan, Korea, the USA. Now it is all 'Made In China.'
It makes me sick to see everything made in China. Why? There is way too much to tell, but I will try to give you a picture of why buying 'Made In China' is sick & wrong.
The government in China is Communism. Many of the things going on in China are just as bad as what the Nazis did. It started in 1949 when the dictator, Mao Tse-tung, stole Tibet and mass-murdered many, many Tibetans. The rest were put into concentration camps and forced to make things. Those things are sold to us and we buy it, not knowing that it was made by slaves! Sick.
In China today not much has changed. The atrocities continue.
Women who are caught pregnant a second time are beaten, imprisoned, & subjected to a forced abortion at gunpoint. The 'One-child only' policy for families is a euphemism for mandatory abortion. No one should be forced to bear a pregnancy, & likewise no one should be forced to have a pregnancy aborted.
In 1989 Student demonstrators were butchered by the Red Chinese Army for gathering peacefully in support of freedom and democracy. They were all unarmed. Many of the students are still in concentration camps to this day for saying that democracy is a cool idea.
The Chinese government undermines our national security. They have stolen our nuclear secrets, sold nuclear devices to terrorist nations, & aggressively expanded their military presence in the naval bottlenecks of the world. They even bought-off the 1996 U.S. presidential election with foreign campaign donations.
The Chinese military OWNS ALL MEANS OF PRODUCTION IN CHINA. The very same army that stole Tibet, murdered students, brutalized pregnant women, and prepares for war against the U.S. & Taiwan.
The money goes directly to support that very same Chinese military when we buy a product that is 'Made In China.'
The workers in these factories are slaves. They shamelessly use the slave labor of many (even children, religious people & pro-democracy activists) who are beaten and tortured, forced to work 14-16 hour shifts in unsafe factories under armed guards. Many people die to produce the products we buy.
If you buy your young daughter a doll, it's quite likely that it was made by a young girl her age who is starving and beaten and worked 98 hours a week in an unsafe factory.
That's one compelling reason (of many) why I say NO to 'Made In China'.
Please spread the word and we can get this stopped. If any in the world don't care - then I feel sorry for them. They you have no morals or compassion in their souls.
If you've ever lost your job, your house, and your financial security to the greedy, heartless Corporations who went off to China to cash in on cheap (slave) labor, you know precisely where I'm coming from & you probably already Boycott China.
To anyone who doesn't care and continues to buy 'Made In China' without the slightest guilt, you should be ashamed by your indifference to human cruelty.
It's the same as living back in Nazi Germany and buying products made by the blood of Jewish slave labor. Or buying products produced by black slaves in the South. Same old injustices & the same old battle:
Materialism VS. Virtue...
The people out there in the world who care more about SHOPPING than PEOPLE do not have souls. The $0.99 they save from buying 'Made In China' products won't buy them a soul!
Seriously, having been educated, I beg you to look at the labels and Boycott China. You now know the conditions under which these goods are made - It is our OBLIGATION as Civilized members of society to refuse to buy products made by cruelty.
