URBAN COMMUNITY CORPORATION
PURPOSE:
The Urban Community Corporation (UCC) proposes to revitalize and redevelop our society in the Economic Development/Renewal Communities by offering employment and hands-on training to the inner city minorities and underprivileged. This service will employ individuals in our society that find it difficult to obtain gainful employment. Utilizing the knowledge of experienced licensed individuals to educate and train a highly potential workforce in renovating commercial and residential edifices. Employing these skilled professionals as well as utilizing them in tutorial programs will offer our communities numerous services, in that we will generate employment, educate the underprivileged in usable trades and revitalize decaying communities.
We intend to work in conjunction with government, public and private agencies to refurbish condemned buildings and lots. Offering individuals the opportunity to develop and apply their knowledge in a skilled profession. These buildings will then be distributed through our Housing Placement Program, to low-to-moderate income families. In conclusion, with this plan of action we hope through the constructive organization of local small businesses and various agencies to extend the opportunity to better harness the power of our communities. In the perpetuating goal of empowering citizens to take pride in themselves as well as their communities, ending the revolving door of urban destruction.
