Twin Isles is a quiet subdivision, located on scenic Lake LBJ three miles southeast of Kingsland and ten miles west of Marble Falls, Texas on Highway 1431. The county seat, Burnet, is a short, thirty minute drive away. Our central location offers convenient access to great churches, fine dining, shopping, golfing, schools, banking and hospitals in the surrounding area. Many recreation sites, including Inks Lake State Park, are nearby. EMS and VFD (volunteer fire department) services are close by in Granite Shoals only three miles to our east.

Lake LBJ is located on the Colorado River between Llano and Burnet Counties, near the towns of Marble Falls, Kingsland and Granite Shoals. Lake LBJ covers some 6,300 acres with a maximum depth of 90 feet and was impounded in 1951. Lake LBJ is one of a chain of six man-made lakes included in the Highland Lakes. The chain includes: Lake Buchanan, Inks Lake, Lake LBJ, Lake Marble Falls, Lake Travis, and Lake Austin. The Highland Lakes are known for their spectacular beauty, and excellent boating and fishing.

Twin Isles Property Owners Association has 112 members and is managed by an elected, seven member board of directors. It's a friendly community enjoying easy access to Lake LBJ from two larger channels and one small channel. A boat ramp provided by the P.O.A. is available for use by all members.

Twin Isles Subdivision is governed by 'By-Laws' and 'Restrictive Covenants & Easement for Twin Isles'. Twin Isles Subdivision was established and plated in 1968.
