A romantic epic about a woman trying to regain her kindle of love. Mandin (Ben Bratt) is an over worked tour pilot with a beautiful wife Kelly (Rene Russo), and a very miss-guided son Eric (Stephen Elliott). Just when life can't get any worse for the family of a small suburban town, it does. An unfortunate accident resulting in the death of Mandin leaves Kelly and Eric alone with each other and their separate views on life. Over the years they grow apart. Just when they are about to unhinge from each other a lone traveler walks into their house and their lives.
