This inhumane process has been repeated throughout history and until we, as individuals, can work within ourselves, and rise from the task reaffirming our faith, and respecting another individual's right to do the same; we will never be able to properly turn our attention to strengthening the family unit, community, and so forth. We must, however, keep tabs on the oppressors at all times. Their names differ and often change, but their tactics, whether subliminal or obvious, remain the same. And what you and I often take for granted can disappear tomorrow. Then you and I will be the ones wondering why no one seems to acknowledge or care about our transgressions.
