Love Is All That We Are, Fear Is All That We Are Not

- by Ben Aronson

I am a firm advocate of the notion that to define something limits it. Having said this, I will attempt to share some semblance of intelligent thought about Love & Fear.

Very simply . . . Love is who and what we are . . . God. All that can be experienced as love, is the experience of God. All that can be experienced as fear . . . is who and what we are not . . . or all that is not God. So you might ask: For what purpose fear? As best as I can, here goes:

In the relative universe which we have chosen to live . . . all that is cannot exist in the absence of that which is not. So . . . say what we will about our preferences and judgments one way or the other, nothing would exist in this realm without either of these elements of our being. How this came to be is quite simple (or not) In God's realm, God is everything, is absolute, and there is nothing that God is not, so there is no way for God to experience what it is to be God. For the basis of all experience is relativity . . . one must be able to compare one thing to another in order to experience either. So being that there is nothing that God is not, God had to devise a way to not be God! To make a longer story shorter, God created mirror images of Godself called Spirit, and allowed Spirit to forget who it was, and so becoming NotGod . . . what we call Human. Not remembering that it was God, nor part of God, Spirit was separate from God, and this made Spirit Fearful. And Spirit did what it did being fearful, which was what God would never do, and so God got to see what it was to not be God. And getting to see what it was not to be God, God got to feel, or experience what it was to be God. But God saw that Spirit was miserable, and being the compassionate God that God is, God created remembering, and so Spirit was able to remember . . . experience by experience, who and what it really is . . . God. And Spirit was respite, until it wasn't, and so there was life. And God got to experience that as well. And God was pleased with this, and so created more spirit, and more spirit chose to forget, and so there were more NotGods . . . with a life, and an opportunity to experience. So, you see, it really is about the experience . . . because when it comes right down to it, everything else is just an illusion isn't it?

Love and Fear are the fundamental elements of E X P E R I E N C E. Without Fear, there is only existence. Perfect existence as it may be, it still is only existence. We do not, in our present manifestation, have the choice to only exist. We surrendered that choice by choosing to come here in the first place. And that was no accident!
