Hello,
My name is Lora Morris. I had originally set this page up in order to help my friend pay for tubal ligation reversal surgery. Her husband has changed his mind, and he does not want her to have a reversal any more. Because of this she has decided not to try to get the funds to pay for the surgery. Perhaps he will change his mind but for now she wants to be removed from this page. She and I are disappointed to say the least.
However, when she decided not to try for a reversal any more, it opened the door somehow for my husband to agree to let me get a reversal. So as of 6-9-04 the fund is for the same purpose but a different person.
This is a surgery that will repair my fallopian tubes so that I can again bear children. I had a tubal ligation done in the past and now regret that choice and wish to try to put my body back to as normal as possible. We (my huband and I) have been impressed by God that I should never have gotten tubal ligation surgery. We have come to understand what a blessing from God children are. Having said all of that: We are asking that if anyone feels lead to make a donation to help fund this surgery, this is how it will work.
* All donations will be put into an account that is only to be used to pay for tubal ligation reversal surgery.
* No money will be taken from the fund until it reaches $6,200, which is the total cost of surgery, then the account will be closed and no further donations will be accepted. (I will be using Dr. Levin for my surgery since he seems to be the most experienced at this type of surgery. There is a link to his site below.)
* We will be contributing to the fund ourselves but it would take years for us to be able to build the fund alone. (I am 34 at this time and I don't have a lot of years left to try to have a baby.)
* All contributors will be listed at the bottom of this page along with the amount they have contributed unless you wish to be anonymous in which case it will be listed as anonymous with the amount. There will also be an account balance listed showing what date it is valid for.
* Donations will be accepted by mail (money orders only, please) or paypal. (I can't afford to pay the bank charges if something should go wrong with a personal check. Sorry for any inconvenience.)
* I will update this page with every donation.

* When the fund is full I will have the surgery done and we will send every person who made a donation a copy of the paid Dr. bill.
* If we have more money in the fund than I need, we will divide the extra proportionately according to percentage donated and return the proper percentage of the extra to each person who donated along with a statement of how it was divided.
* I would like to ask anyone who is considering donating to please pray about it and be sure that you feel God wants you to do it. We are not trying to make money. We just want to right a wrong that we have done and need a little help doing it.
