A Ministry of Music by Teresa Patterson:

Overview:
Teresa performs a variety of musical arrangements ranging from Christian Contemporary to Southern Gospel. She would very much like to help your organization in providing a blessed worship experience for you organization or church.

We DO NOT ask for an offering to be taken, because Teresa strongly feels that the Lord has blessed her with her current job as Director of Music Ministries at Harrison United Methodist Church in Pineville, North Carolina.

Backgound:
A trained soprano, Teresa Sue Patterson was born in Cameron, Texas and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 1991 after developing and directing two award winning public school choirs in Texas. Teresa graduated from Indiana University with two bachelor’s degrees in music, specializing in vocal performance and music education. She then continued her studies and received a Master of Music from Winthrop University in South Carolina. She is currently the Director of Music Ministries at Harrison United Methodist Church in Pineville, North Carolina where she has developed a vast Music Ministry Department including various choirs, vocal ensembles, handbells, a praise band, wind ensembles and orchestra. For several years Teresa has been performing with a Christian contemporary group, the “Promise Singers”, as well as with “Center Stage”. In addition, she has performed extensively in numerous operas, including the role of “Auntie” in Peter Grimes. She continues to perform with Opera Carolina on occasion but devotes the majority of her time developing her music ministry via solo performances and directing.
