Horses for sale: (e-mail requests for photos or view image gallery)

Joanie is a wonderful mare, great with kids and newbies. She trailers well, is gentle, sweet, all that. There will be a lot of teary eyed little kids moping around the barn when she goes, but we need to make room for another horse. She's 15 hands, all white with just a few spots. She's great for teaching people to ride, and for giving the spooked rider confidence. I often find kids just sitting or laying on her in the paddock. In the winter she gets a wonderful puffy white coat that makes bareback a warm, soft winter pleasure.
JOANIE HAS BEEN SOLD TO THE JONES FAMILY!

Pokemon is a very rare horse called a tiger horse. It's a gaited appaloosa. They are generally very expensive, but we lucked out on him. He's for sale because Shellie needs to stay with the kids when she rides, and only one horse can keep up with Pokemon! He's only 14 hands, 7 years old. He is incredibly smart, and all about the relationship with his rider. He is a once in a lifetime horse. Well, really more like a zoo animal you can ride. Every day he amazes us with silly, unhorselike antics. He can scratch his belly on the ground. He can stick his back leg all the way over the top of his head. He can open any container. Including your heart. Neat horse.
Pokemon update: Poke is now doing Parelli Level 2 like he was born for it, with some Level 3 activities. We have discovered a jumping talent. He is now spending more time left brained that right brained, and I'd say he's an extrovert. He has fixed his steering column and brakes.
$2800.00

LeRoy is the most beautiful horse in the world. Don't ask how he got his unappealing name. He doesn't know it, so you can change it. He is a 5 year old gelding, 15 hand palomino.
Still doing finish work on him, but he is very willing, has a huge heart and is terribly sweet. He takes an experienced rider just because he is very light and very in tune with your signals. Nice mover, and likes to jump. Would make a good foxhunter. Loves to be out on trail. Left brained...probably more introvert.
$3500.00

Domino is a 10 hand pinto pony mare, 8 years old that is gaited AND jumps. She has lots of trail miles and likes to hop on the trailer and go. She likes to play with the kids (remote control car chasing is a favorite)and watches for the school bus every day. Once the bus comes, she watches the house to see what the kids are going to do for play and if she should be involved. Left brained extrovert. $2200

Crumbs is a 13 year old appaloosa mare, 15 hands. She has also done lots of trail rides, including the urban trail ride in Fredericksburg. She is sweet and reliable. I like to ride her English, my husband prefers western. Left brained introvert, but very kind and patient. $2800

Frank (Sinatra) is a 6 year old paint gelding, 14 hands. He is gaited, but trots for riding lessons. He has a lovely canter and trot. He is very willing to please. In the paddock he is involved in whatever is going on and greets everyone with a slobbery lick. Left brained extrovert for sure. Sweet, sweet horse that has packed my kids down the trail since they were 6. $2800
