TRUCKEE BMX WILL BE CLOSED SATURDAY JULY 18,2009
FOR THE SOUTH LAKE TAHOE STATE QUALIFIER RACE
Truckee BMX will host a ABA California State Qualifier Race on Saturday July 25th
Sign ups 9:30 to 11:00 AM Racing asap
Cost is $20.00
We will have a Track work day Friday July 24 in preparation for our State Qualifier. We need volunteers for this work day and the race. Please come and help out and make this a great success for Truckee BMX
We will also have a "for fun" Vintage BMX race Saturday July 25th
rules for the vintage race are as follows
You must be over 30 years of age to race
You must use Flat Pedals- NO CLIPS
Your bike MUST have a 1" threaded Head set
Your bike must have bridge mounted brakes, NO POST /Cantilever /V brakes or V brake plates or disc brakes allowed.
This will be an open class race for 20"24"&26" vintage bmx bikes.
Cost will be $5.00

Truckee BMX is OPEN
Bikes must be in good working order NO PEGS! OR KICKSTANDS! allowed. Please make sure your bike conforms to the track rules.Rules are posted at the track or call for information.

NO BROKEN OR OTHERWISE DAMAGED BIKES OR BIKE PARTS WILL BE ALLOWED ON TRACK. THIS IS FOR YOUR SAFETY.
NO BARE BAR ENDS ALLOWED YOU MUST HAVE GRIPS AND BAR ENDS
HELMETS REQUIRED / Full face recommended
Long Pants and long sleeve shirts Required
Shorts with knee to ankle shin guards and Short sleeve Jerseys with elbow guards are allowed.
We strongly recommend gloves
Our summer schedule will be:
Tuesday Race night
sign ups 5:00pm to 6:30pm races ASAP. cost $10.00
MUST BE an ABA MEMBER TO RACE.
You can join ABA at the track. Please ask for details.
We need more local racers
Thursday Open Practice
5:00pm to 7:00 pm
cost $2.00
Saturday Race Day Sign up's 9:30 to 11:30 racing asap Must be ABA member to race. Cost $10.00
If no race Open practice cost $2.00

Track is located at 12200 Joeger Drive in Truckee California at the River View Sports Park
Directions:Hwy. 80 to Truckee. Take exit 188b Hwy 267. Go south towards Lake Tahoe. Left on Soaring way. Left on Joerger rd. Left into Riverview Park. Track at far end of parking lot.
