Troop 1333
If you are a boy and you would like to join Boy Scouts you may want to join Troop 1333. Our troop meets every Sunday from around 4:00PM to 6:00PM near Trinity Lutherian Church. There are 3 huts and we are the middle hut.There is also like a miniture hill that is a lot of fun and is covered with mini trees during spring and summer where we take our breaks. We do campouts in many places, summer camps held in other states like Colorado,Arizona and others, award winning cobbler, and many intresting things.This year it will be Tennesse. You can learn how to save a person's life,survival skills,cooking for yourself, and so on. We make some of the most tasteiest foods and some of the greatest apptizers, and the best desserts like cobbler and monkey bread. We can not share our great cooking secrets unless you join. We do a couple fundraisers but the one that is the best is the "Smoked Chicken Cookout." People tend to think all we do is learn a couple things, pitch tents,cook a little, and sell popcorn that is delicious. Troop 1333 is very friendly. I, as a scout would be surprised if you didn't make at least 10 new friends. The troop ,as I said is friendly, always will help you with help on your rank. As many people know Eagle is the HIGHEST rank. You can add palms to make your rank higher. Many colleges give free scolarships to Eagles!!This year's camping fee (per campout) is $15.00. That and about 2 more small fees is all that is charged. You can run for positions like patrol leader, scribe, librian, historian, and many other positions. If someone plays the bugle well I think they could get to be the bugler since we don't have one. I will soon have more info and links for you later.
