Jill Stefko PhD has studied the paranormal and researched it for over 30 years. Doctoral thesis theme: interrelationship between psychic and psychological and how to treat the experients. She writes for paranormal websites as an expert, is a published author of A Parapsychology Primer and a Ghostly Game. Jill appears as a guest on talk radio call in shows and television as an expert and has been the subjuect of newspaper interviews. She is registered with the Parapsychology Foundation's Speakers Bureau.
She has given lectures, seminars and workshops about parapsychology, the scientific study of psi, psychic phenomena, done without bias.
Jill's interest in psi began when she was a child and had psychic experiences. The adults said these were a figment of her imagination. When she was eleven, she bought her first parapsychology book, The Unknown Guest, Maurice Maeterlinck, and realized this phenomena was real. Since then, she has done and does extensive research.
She has taken part in many investigations of alleged psi and is in the process of writing another book about these experiences. Included will be the ghost tours she created, then partnered with the local tourism authority, which was disbanded in 2000, bringing about the demise of the tours and is currently working with another tourism authority to revive.
Jill is working with several presitgious parapsychological organizations, including major universities, in the research of extraordinary human experiences.
She is also an expert in Shamanism: Celtic Druid, Anglo-Saxon Craft, Pennsylvania Deutsch, Native American, Stregeria, Vooduon and Santeria, which she relates to both the psychic and the psychological. She has also studied the dark side of these.
Jill has counseled clients with emotional problems as well as experients of psi from a transpersonal psychology perspective.
She loves animals and researches anpsi, animal psychic phenomena. She also studies power animals and their symbolism.
