TOBY PETERSEN
Hey, Toby Petersen fans! Here's things I know about Toby Petersen. So you're welcome to czeck it out!:
Toby Petersen has an older brother,
Ian Petersen, who plays hockey, but he is not in the NHL. Toby, also has two sisters, whose names are, Bethany and Arianna Toby Petersen was born, Tobias Emanuel Petersen. He is the son of Gary and Randine Petersen. Toby finished high school in three years and served on the student council his final year at Bloomington Jefferson in 1995-96. Toby enjoys rollar blading, tennis and playing intramural softball in his spare time. Toby is not married.
He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the year of 1998. Toby new what team was going to draft him, though, because his father found out on the Internet.
In the year 2000 when Mario Lemieux came back to Mellon to play again, Toby was sent to the Baby Penguins, the AHL team of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Toby considered it an honour because it cleared a roster spot for Mario Lemieux. Toby played only 12 games in that year and had 8 points; 2 goals and 6 assists, but this season 2001/2002, Toby's back! Yay! He missed the first game of the season from Dehydration, though:(. On Thanksgiving in the year of 2001, Toby was going to go out and eat by himself, but Kevin Stevens, who is now off the Penguins roster, invited him over to his house. Thank you for being kind to Toby, Kevin.
Toby Petersen, since he was about 5 years old, has the disease of, Diabetes:(. I always pray to God, that he will heal him. I feel SO bad for Toby. I really, really, really, hope that Toby will get better VERY soon. It's very sad knowing that he has the disease. I feel so bad for him. I got two books at the library, so I could see what Toby is going through every single day. You read the things he has to go through, and your like, "Poor Toby."
He has an awesome heart, and he is totally brilliant to be able to handle it for so many years. :)

AN ARTICLE BY ME
Toby Petersen is a VERY, VERY, VERY, talented hockey player. The Penguins need him. Toby Petersen, in the year of 2001, played along side Mario Lemieux's and Marty Straka's line (the first line) and Toby scored a Hattrick one of the times. The game was the first one the Pittsburgh Penguins won, from a 4 game losing streak, and also the first game Rick Kehoe coached the team. Toby was the first rookie on the Penguins, that scored a hattrick, since 11 years ago when, Jaromir Jagr, now on the team of the Washington Capitals, got a hattrick. Way to go, TOBY:)!!!!!
MY THOUGHTS ABOUT TOBY
I think that Toby is REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, handsome!!!!!!! I think he's a terrific hockey player, also. He's my favorite hockey player. It seems like he's a good person, too, from what he said, in an article. The person who wrote it, talked about different Penguin heroes.
Toby, a Twin Cities native, latched onto Minnesota North Stars center Mike Modano, and ended up spending a lot of quality time with Modano because, duing Toby's early days in Minnesota, Mike Modano lived with the family of one of Petersen's Squirt hockey teammates.
Toby, said, "It's not something you actively think about--you can't plan on it--but you know there are kids out there who look up to people in our position," Petersen said. "That's why you have to be very careful of what you say, and that you're setting a good example."
I agree with him,
You're right, TOBY!
WHEN I SENT TO TOBY
I sent a letter and card to Toby, for his birthday (October 27th) and three (3) months later, January, he sent back! He sent back a hockey card of him and he signed it! With all those anthrax cases, I was very lucky that he sent back. I would like to give a "Thank you" to Toby, so here it goes:

Penguins Q & A: Toby Petersen
George Von Benko: It had to feel good, the first rookie hat trick by a Penguin since Jaromir Jagr accomplished that feat.
Toby Petersen: It felt incredibly good, and doing it in this game when we were in need of an offensive lift — it’s doubly nice. So it was a good feeling.
George Von Benko: Even though he’s probably the greatest hockey player in the world, it isn’t an easy task playing with Mario Lemieux. But you seemed to mesh with him pretty well.
Toby Petersen: I try, it’s tough you’ve got to keep finding those spaces and keep finding the openings and you know that he is eventually going to get you the puck and he’s going to make the proper play. I thought are line clicked pretty well — I think we generated quite a bit of offense.
George Von Benko: Would you like to see this line (with Lemieux and Straka) stick together awhile?
Toby Petersen: Obviously, it’s every players dream to play with players of that caliber; but in all reality Kovalev is going to come back and we’ll cross that bridge when we get there.
George Von Benko: It was great to get the hat trick, but even more so to get the win.
Toby Petersen: Yeah, exactly! The hat trick is nice and something I’ll always remember, but as far as the season goes, the win is the most important thing. You don’t want to start off the season 0-5. We knew it was time turn it around — we got the new coach in here and we are kind of considering it a new season right now and we got off to a good start.
(This year I sent to Toby Petersen again. (IT wasn't to long ago.))
NEWS: TOBY GOT SENT TO THE BABY PENGUINS:(.

TOBY, PLEASE IM ME! THANK YOU!:)

WILKES-BARRE — The American Hockey League doesn’t keep time on ice as one of its statistics, so we have no way of knowing exactly how much Toby Petersen has played in the first few games of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins' season.
Here’s an estimate: A lot.
Petersen is playing the point on the Baby Pens’ No. 1 power-play unit. He’s the team’s top penalty killer, too.
Even strength, he is paired with center Kris Beech and right wing Tom Kostopoulos on what could be considered Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s top line.
In games where the obstruction crackdown is particularly pronounced and special teams play an exaggerated role, Petersen is on the ice for nearly half the game.
It’s quite a change from last season, when he averaged 12 minutes a game with the parent Penguins.
“It does take some getting used to, I guess,” he said. “But we played enough exhibition games and had enough hard practices early on that I feel like I’m in good shape.”
Petersen has to keep a close eye on his fatigue level — as well as his blood sugar — because he has diabetes. He said that increased ice time is not a detriment to his health, however.
“It’s not much of an effect, not enough to mention anyway,” he said.
