Welcome, This is my first web page.I am an electronics technology
student at a local community techical college.I have recently become
interested in the science of the sliderule.My aim is to add some insight to the subject.The pocket calculator is an eletronic sliderule.The Mannheim Sliderule is the most common type of sliderule
10 inchs in length, its parts are a stock,movible centerpiece, and
a curser with a hairline marker. Calculations are done by using the scales on the sliderule. The sliderule works through the mathimatics
of logirythems or exponets. Scales ,The scales on the sliderule are
C,D used for multiplication and division,A,B the squares of C and D
C1 an inverse scale,K to get cubes and cube roots,S,T trig scales,and
L,to get logirythems directly.
