The Seer (Part2)

In the storage facility where the kromagg equipment is stored Maggie, Mallory and Diana are fixing the kromagg sliding equipment.
"You know, I don`t see the use of fixing this equipment. Without Remmy I don`t want to slide and besides, the seer said we will die." Maggie said, sounding hopeless.
"Speak for yourself, I`m going. I will take the risk and follow Remmy. I don`t care what the seer says, I didn`t much believe him anyway." Mallory replied.
"Mallory. Don`t speak that way about the dead" Diana interrupted.
In a cold storage room of the facility, Claire plans her escape. Claire remembers one time when her dad was telling her about an experience the sliders had on one world where there was a jazz singer. (Angie Morgan.) The sliders met her, one thing led to another and Remmy, Mallory and Angie were put in a cold storage room alot like this one, her and her security guards were stuck in. Anyway, Mallory got the idea to freeze a lock of the door with the freeon in a tube. Claire thought that was exactly what she was going to do now.
"Jerry." Claire called to one of her guards. Then continued. "Can you get this tube and aim it at the lock on that door over there?" Claire pointed at the refridgerator tubing and then the door, with a cunning look on her face.
Meanwhile, in the vortex, Remmy realises he has stopped and the walls of the vortex start to disappear.
"What the hell is going on?" Remmy yelled.
Gradually the walls vanished little by little until Remmy found himself surrounded by a black void. It was totally dark with no stars and no air. It was a wonder he didn`t die in the vacuum of space. Up way ahead there was a small region of space that was distorted, but other than that, nothing. He was just floating there, somewhere.
Suddenly, there was a blinding flash of light from the distorted region and a humungas explosion. Remmy was blown by a blast of air. (Just when he was running out of air) When he looked behind him, he saw a colourful, clear rectangular region which looked like crinkled lolly paper and he knew it was one of Wades vortex curtains.
"Wade. Are you there?" Remmy seemingly said to nothing as he was still being blasted towards the vortex curtain.
"Yes, Remmy. I saw that you were in trouble and wanted to help." Wade responded, in her voice inside Remmys head.
"I thought that you were dead and where are you sending me anyway?" Remmy responded.
"I`m not dead. it`s hard to explain, but I was turned into pure energy and I`m just an incorporeal mind without a body. The computer I was atached to woke up certain area`s of my brain that human~s never use, so I guess that`s what made me become what I am. I`m sending you to the seers world you were on before.
Remmy just had time to see magnificent colours swirling, cosmic dust and particles being drawn to each other to form matter, before he was blasted through the vortex curtain. Next thing he knew he was in a park on the world he left a few minutes ago, presumedly.
"Was that what I think it was?" Remmy said to no-one, but was really talking to wades incorporeal mind. He was indicating the black void he was in.
"Yeah, it was the big bang." Wade said inside Remmy`s head.
"I`m confused!" Remmy scratched his head.
"Your vortex you were travelling in was too weak to stay open for long. So it collapsed and you found yourself in the space between parallel universe`s witnessing the birth of a universe. You see, every one of these parallel universe~s has to be created, they ain`t just there." Wade started to explain.
"So, you are telling me depending on what point the vortex breaks down I will see a different stage of that universes history? Will I see the end of the universe if I exited near the end of the vortex?" Remmy tried to understand.
"No, but the first part was right. It could be argued that the universe has no end because it`s there when you exit the vortex, isn`t it?" Wade said.
"Wow, you`re right. I guess I never thought of it before." Remmy exclaimed.
"Diana and our Quinn will probably know more about it." Wades incorporeal mind said, then, "Talking about Quinn, I think I can communicate with him and help him became the dominant personality in Mallorys body." She finished.
"Yeah. How?" Remmy sounded skeptical.
"Along with my other capabilities I can talk telepathically to people`s minds, not only yours either." Wade told Remmy.
"That`s great."
"Yeah, I just need a rest. Rescueing you made me exhausted." Wade said.
"Okay, I`m catching a taxi to the storage facility Maggie, Mallory, Diana, Amanda and the seer are in." Remmy told Wade.
"OK, I will follow you."
Remmy hailed a taxi, got inside and told the taxi driver (Which happened to be Pavel.) where to go.
"O.K, my friend. Do I know you? Why are you staring at me like that?" Pavel asked.
"Sorry, but I thought I knew you. I guess not." Remmy apologised.
Pavel drove on and 40 minutes later they were at the storage facility. Remmy paid Pavel then went inside the building just in time to see Claire and her goons entering the warehouse where he left Maggie, Mallory, Diana, Amanda and the seer. Remmy was to late to stop Claire and co from entering, besides they had guns, he saw.
Claire and the security guards entered the room while Diana was putting the finishing touches to fixing the kromagg sliding equipment.
"Get away from there." Claire demanded, pointing the gun at the sliders. Then while pointing the gun she looked at her dad in the chair and said. "Looks like he finally died. Oh well, I was planning to do it anyway.
"How did you get out?" Mallory asked Claire.
"Used your old trick of freezing the lock. You should of tied us up, you stupid sliders." Claire mocked.
"We should of killed you. You mean. BITCH." Maggie yelled.
"You are the one that is going to die." With that said. Claire fired a bullet directly at Maggies head. Maggie instantly collapsed to the ground with blood and pieces of her brain flying everywhere.
Remmy was sneaking in when he heard a shot. He then lunged at Claire, knocking the gun out of her hand. Mallory used this opportunity to punch out the guards. Mallory and Amanda Mallory held Claire to the spot while Remmy ran over to Maggie with tears in his eyes.
"Maggie." Remmy said in a tearchoked voice as he kneeled beside Maggie. Blood was seeping from her head wound.
"It`s no use Remmy. She`s dead." Diana commiserated, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Noooooooo." Remmy yelled, then turned to Claire and said. "You heartless Bitch. How could you?
"She had it coming." Claire spitted at Remmy.
Remmy lunged at Claire with murder in his eyes, put his hands around Claires neck ready to stangle her to death.
"She`s not worth it Remmy." Diana began. Then Amanda added. "Yeah, don`t sink down to her level. Do you want murder on your conscious for the rest of your life? I`m really sorry about Maggie, but we can send Claire and her guards to a random earth. The kromagg sliding equipment is fixed now."
With that, Remmy let go of Claire and stared at her in discust as Diana opened a vortex, then Mallory and him threw Claire and her unconcious guards into the vortex. Claire shouted her revenge, but was ignored. The vortex closed and Remmy thought good riddance.
"So. Why and how did you get back?" Diana asked Remmy.
Once calmed down Remmy told the sliders about everything that happened to him.
"So, where is Wade now?" Diana asked.
"I`m here Remmy. I saw what happened. I`m sorry about Maggie." Wade said in Remmys head.
"She`s here." Remmy said to the other sliders.
"Remmy said you could communicate with my Quinn." Amanda Mallory asked the room, hoping Wade heard her.
"I`m been trying to for the last 5 minutes." Wade told Amanda in her head. Amanda felt confused hearing Wades voice in her head, but she nodded her acceptance.
A few minutes passed then...
"I feel funny..." Mallory began, then he collapsed because Wade successfully brought Quinns personality out and made it dominate by talking to Quinn telepathically and helping him have the controlling personality. The switch over of personalities made Mallory collapse for awhile. After a few moments Mallory regained full consciousness, but with Wades Quinn personality.
"Are you alright Mallory?" Remmy asked.
"It`s me Remmy. I`m back. I`m your Quinn." Quinn said in his voice.
He`s right Remmy." Wade said in Remmys head.
Everyone looked in amazement as Remmy confirmed to the rest of the sliders that this was their Quinn. Then Quinn noticed Maggies lifeless body on the floor.
"Maggggiiieeee." Quinn said in a drawn out sad voice.
"I`m sorry Quinn." Remmy said in a sorrowful voice.
Quinn fell silent for a while then went over to his mum to hug her.
"Hi Quinn. I missed you so much. I`ve got alot to tell you. Partically about your brother." Amanda said to her son.
"Colin. What about him? Have you found him? Quinn asked anxiously.
"That can wait. I think it`s time to get out of this place. I fixed the sliding equipment, even made a timer to replace the other one. I put Remmys co-ordinates for his homeworld in the timer. So we can go." Diana informed everyone. Quinn was left wondering about Colin.
"Good idea." Everyone agreed.
"What about what the seer predicted?" Remmy asked everyone.
"We will have to take the risk." Diana said. "Right. The vortex should be strong enough for 4 people to slide through." Diana continued.
"Are you coming Wade?" Quinn asked Wades incorporeal mind.
"Yes Quinn. I will be right behind you." Wade said in his head.
"Okay. Lets go." Remmy sounded excited again.
So. Diana activated a vortex. Remmy, Quinn(in Mallorys body), Diana, Amanda and Wade as an incorporeal mind all leaped into the swirling pink and blue wormhole.
