Mini Relic Script - Valentines Present!

(Deliveryman, holding a bunch of flowers, walks down a corridor and into an office)
DELIVERYMAN: Delivery!
(Claudia jumps up)
CLAUDIA: Oh! That will be for me!
(Grabs the flowers)
DELIVERYMAN: Sign here… Sydney Fox, right?
CLAUDIA: (Disappointed) Oh… no!
(Pushes the flowers back in his hands miserably)
She's over-there!
(Sydney Fox takes the flowers and signs them. Then she pushes on her glasses and looks at Claudia)
SYDNEY: Claudia, is something bothering you?
CLAUDIA: (Defensively) No!
(Sydney walks over to where Nigel is sat)
SYDNEY: Nigel, what's up with Claudia?
(Nigel whispers in Sydney's ear)
NIGEL: She's expecting a Valentines present from… Chuck!
CLAUDIA: I 'am' not!
SYDNEY: (Totally surprised) So that's who you're dating now? Chuck… as in Chuck, the university janitor.
CLAUDIA: The university 'care-taker'! And he only does that as a sidejob… his main job is a hotel manager- he told me.
(Sydney and Nigel look at each other and roll their eyes)
SYDNEY: Well, in that case, Claudia, its no wonder you're expecting a pricey present!
CLAUDIA: You think I give a toss about what Chuck buys me? It's all about the LOVE!
(Chuck enters)
