I have still not resumed casting yet but Juan has been working on the new Mongols and they are coming along nicely. I'll have pictures of some of the masters up within the week.

In the mean time, I took the down period to paint some of the Ancient Spanish and added a small Gallery of them. They'll be getting into the thick of it at Historicon.

For how they got the nickname the Snake Eaters, see the discussion thread under Battle Reports on the Fanaticus Web Page. Not quite the legend of the Aztec;s Serpent and the Eagle but it will do.

The previously mentioned conversions of Gothic Peasants to Saxon Druids and are back and I'm going to send out some samples to those who have purchased the Arthurian Army to get their feed back before releasing them. Maybe I can tempt Juan to sculpt some originals up.

Many people are commenting and complementing me on how much they like the sculpting of POTN figures and what a good job, detail, etc. they represent. While I don't want people to stop providing that feedback, you should know that Juan Cortez is the artist and sculptor who has made all the masters. While I enjoy converting them, Juan's skill at doing an original is hard to match.

GENERAL INFORMATION ON FIGURES, LISTINGS, AND ORDERING:

POTN produces 15mm Ancients. Ranges include but are not limited to: L. Carthaginians, Marians, Gauls (currently out of production), Ancient Spanish, Late Imperial and Patrician Romans, Sub Roman British (Arthur), and, of course, Goths which can be morphed into all the Germanic enemies and allies of the LIRs.

Most Pass o' the North figures are cast with open hands, or with a few exception in the LIRs which have to be drilled for spears. Shields are usually separate and included with each army (figures) where needed.
